What was once a city treasure of vibrant activity, has become a cemetery of lost knowledge. Books are regularly "weeded out' as the once great library collection is methodically annihilated. Picture The Romans sacking the library of Alexandria. The literature section has become rows of empty shelves. The New Books section is a catacomb that echos earlier times as new book purchases dwindle save for a small smattering of Amazon top ten pop books, and always a new book of World War II Germany. The Starbucks is gone. The children events remain quite popular while once frequent adult visitors such as myself and my wife find little reason to enter the vast emptiness that now exists. She took great pictures of the baby and ensure the pictures are good with us. She’s also very nice...
