The staff is super nice and friendly, but they constantly screw up orders on the drive thru. You won’t read a lot of reviews like this because most of these reviews are probably from people from Connecticut. Connecticut people don’t realize how much better everything is outside their little state. It’s still the best coffee shop in Stamford because the dunkin donuts down the street is inconvientely located, you cant turn left out of it and it doesn’t have a drive thru for some dumb reason. Also Connecticut people are always drinking iced coffee, so ordering a “coffee” in the middle of winter which should be a normal thing, has to be repeated like 5 times as “hot” coffee. Who drinks iced coffe in the middle of winter? Connecticut people apparently. Nothing against this place, it can only do so much for the location. But ordering in the drive...
Read moreI usually love the ice coffee here and stop by whenever I'm in the area. Unfortunately as I've grown older I've developed a hypersensitivity to caffeine and am forced to get decaf. Today I ordered a decaf iced coffee and before leaving the drive thru, tried to confirm it was decaf. The lady serving me turned to.another younger girl who prepared my coffee and asked her. She nodded her head, so she turned to me and said yes. Then as I started to drive off heard her say " just say yes next time" Now as I drove off I tried to convince myself I misheard her and was being paranoid. Well now I know I was not. I know this because I'm having pretty intense chest pain and skipping heart beats, which is why I order decaf on the first place. Was my discomfort and potential medical issue really worth avoiding repouring the coffee correctly? Very...
Read moreBest place for breakfast in the area. The honey dipped donuts/donut holes are my favorite since they're light and sweet; we use the terms glazed for denser ones and honey dipped, but if you're from an area that calls the two types cake and yeast, glazed=cake and honey dipped=yeast.
I also recommend going a bit spicy on sandwiches by going with chorizo rather than sausage.
Service is fast and friendly, although you should try to grab a parking space and go in if the line is backed up onto the street.
Nothing stays out of stock long, and I asked if they would bake enough donut holes to fill a 55 gallon drum if I asked (for catering an event); they said they would if I gave the manager a data sheet showing the drum was food safe.
Photos and menu prices attached are as of...
