I have been a regular at THE HIDEAWAY for over 20 years and am very sad that Mystique took over and renovated the whole building. Now the inside looks like a mix between an airport waiting area and a generic strip club. Tons of TV's, horrible music, way too bright lights, carpet on the entire floor, and a freaking "Reserved Seating Area". In other words, the old Hideaway is entirely dead. There is no soul in this club. 99% of the old dancers are gone. They have been replaced with cold, non-smiling, money hungry Russian girls, who would rather gaze into their cellphones than party with the guys who come in. Yes, the girls are hot, but they are boring and just plain lame. I am not alone in thinking this way. All the other dudes that used to go there are saying the same thing. Trust me, if you want a fun, rowdy, strip club experience, hit up Harry O's which is still keeping it real after all these years. I will say, that the new folks who are going to Mystique dig it though. If you are into hot girls who do work the pole, go for it. If you want a real party, however, go elsewhere. I went to mystique for the first time for my birthday! I wanted to do something fun and different, so my partner recommended this place. The drinks were insane, probably the best Long Island ice tea I’ve had! Shoutout to the bar tenders! Lovely girls! Also. The dancers were great and beautiful 😻 I love seeing variety ... I know sometimes a girl being there with her partner might keep some of the girls away but I am friendly! One of the best gentlemen's clubs in tri state area. It's always clean. It's fun. The workers are really nice and inviting. U can joke around and enjoy yourself. Sometimes there are famous people there. Private rooms are amazing. It's reasonable prices. They charge entrance but it's worth it. It's not a big club and closes 2am cus its conneticut laws BUT , it's top notch. Girls are pretty and the patrons are friendly.
