Best Time Ever and Best Place Ever — Attraction in Stamford

Never in a million years did I think I had to call ahead to ask if the facility allowed pets! My husband took our child to a friends party. Our child is Anaphylactic to dog saliva. He left epi home, because it’s an indoor carpeted facility. After 1/2 hour of my child crying on dads lap and being scared to play my husband asked the staff to have the dog removed from the party for the safety of our child. The staff instead asked to move the pet to a tiled hallway as a compromise “because it would be easiest to clean dander, drool, possible accident”. He should have just asked the pet owner himself. Turns out, he was glad he didn’t, because the dog mom yelled at the staff to “get out of her face”, and that she was going to “call the police”. Could you imagine, at a kids birthday party, threatening police? I’m so sorry the staff was treated so poorly. Even sorrier about her ridiculous review. Hubs asked staff not to say it was him and that’s his fault. He was worried about our child who was so worried they couldn’t settle down. I have been coming here for about 2 years. So much to do. My kids (now 3/6) can climb, jump, slide, gymnastics, build houses, play with unlimited toys we cannot fit in our house, paint if they get bored (for a fair and fun price/memory) color/draw for no charge. The gym area reminds me of the super fun ones Chucky Cheese used to have in the old days-so high up, exciting for kids and definitely gets them moving their bodies. As a parent I like bringing my kids places where they moveee their bodies. I tell them all the time how important it is since our bodies are made to play and have fun. Well this is the place to instill that in them. All sensory are being used here. I buy a punch card so the price is reduced. It’s worth it. Some days I stay an hour, others I stay for hourssss. Staff you can tell love kids since they are so patient, kind and help the children get excited about everything they do. I would like to respond to the previous review as I was present with my children as well as other regular clientele. I witnessed this reviewer’s wife who was being aggressive towards the staff, unreasonable and highly inappropriate in-front of the children as she threatened the staff. The employee in question remained calm as she attempted to defuse the situation only making the woman more irate and unstable. With the other children and customers in mind she calmly asked the woman to leave ( which we were all very happy about ). Her claims of the establishment being dirty are clearly that of an angry and unstable woman who was not allowed to behave badly and is now continuing her temper tantrum.
