To the Point: First and last time. Very low standards and no quality control. Honestly, go somewhere else. My husband and I had a bad experience and overheard a couple of other unhappy customers while we were there. The staff had an excuse for everything. They would argue that the customer didn’t get a particular cleaning but it seems to be basic things like making sure there aren’t water and dust streaks on the car. They would argue that somethings were permanent stains. Maybe they call it Splash because all they do is splash a bucket of water on your car?
The Details: My husband got the full service and they handed over the car with garbage inside, the rugs and mats were clearly not vacuumed, and the surfaces were dusty. I honestly don’t know what they did besides lightly wipe the outside. We went back and they tried to explain they only clean the dash bc the car pad/computer is too sensitive but they also didn’t clean any of the surfaces. They at least vacuumed when we brought the issues to their attention and my husband had to do the wiping down of the surfaces themselves. At that point, he would rather do it himself. So he paid ~$30 to clean down his own car.
I got a full detail ($144) and it was everything but detailed. There was dust everywhere. I was wiping the surfaces outside on my way home smh. The outside was also poorly done. I had to point out over 10 things. After that they had 3 different people working on the car for 20 more minutes. On second review, I found other things and right away I started getting excuses. He tried to argue that some things were car scratches until I asked him for the rag and easily wiped it off myself. You can tell they’re not detailed because they just lightly wipe and don’t even look at what they’re doing. At that point I had wasted enough of my time and realized they just don’t car or are not able to do the work. I just won’t be back and will share my opinion if someone asks about...
Read more:::EDIT 8/11/17:::I've been loyal to splash since I could drive. Recently, I was so disappointed that I will have to go elsewhere since the staff doesn't seem to really respect other people's property. After recently repairing my two front wheels from a hit and run, the gentleman at the drive-in bay was quick to bring some much un-wanted patina back into my line of sight. The guy not only jumped the rail with my truck, slammed on the brakes (cue screeching metal on metal sound of my rims grinding rails) he also giggled his way into the next customers car to repeat it. Not only did the entire staff stop after the hearing the noise, everyone looked around to see if anyone saw. I reported the damage to the staff and the only thing they had to offer was an apology.
Sorry guys, but I couldn't let this one slide by. Re-Powder coating wheels is not cheap!
Not like it matters to them, but I won't be coming back after this.... Even if this was
EDIT: since the issue the management staff has been trying to communicate with me, so much so that they've known me for so long that they know my friends who also wash their cars with them and attempted to relay through them. Long story short, I completely put this incident aside just by seeing how serious they take their customer complaints.
Sorry if had been difficult and thanks for being so caring about your customers.
Keep up the...
Read moreSorry I hate to do this but I need to be honest.... This is the 3rd and last time I waste money at this car wash. 24.00 plus tax for wheel and wash package. Once again the worst car wash I have EVER received. -Dirt left on my console -wet mud print on my driver side speaker from them using there foot to open the door -subpar job vacuuming the car there was still dirt in car. -I paid for wheel service and I had to go home and take a towel to re-clean my own wheels -kids seats in back looked as if they spent 1 second with vacuum. the list could go on and on My car is kept very clean, I paid top dollar to have splash touch it up and once again they failed. I know it is convenient if you live on Hope street, but do yourself a favor and drive a little further down the road and try out Camp Ave Car Wash! Much better service for comparative price. My wife recently went to splash as well and had to point out to the workers all the dirt left on the car, they ended up rewashing her car to get it correct. The customer should not have to point by this out to you guys. Why I went to splash again... it is conveniently located on my drive home, I was really hoping they would have fixed these issues. 3rd time I have had this type of service, I will not spend another dollar there and I suggest you spend your...
