Pictured is the famous order of pupusas that Maya makes fresh every day. What I forgot to take a picture of are these little appetizers that are called garnachas. They were essentially thicker corn tortillas topped with fresh carrot/cabbage slaw and cheese. They were my favorite item on the menu. They come in orders of 3, 6 or 9. The service is a bit slower because I went on a Sunday when everyone came from church which caused a lunch rush but once you get your food, you even forgot about the wait. They also have great juices if you’re in jicama or nearly any other southern American vegetable. Can’t wait for my next visit!

A delicious variety of Guatemalan food!! Must try the garnachas and the stuffed peppers! Every plate we tried was super tasty, from tamales to chuchitos. Staff treated our group of 10 like family. Enjoyed outdoor seating while marimba music played in background. Will be going back! Gracias!!

very good food! looks family owned. street parking was a little bit tough but still able to find a spot. nice staff but the food was very very good! I got a pupusa and steak fajitas and I was very pleased with the portions and the flavors. I even ordered more pususas to take home.

Worst restaurant ive been too! My family and I ordered a lomo each first of all didnt have any color or flavor. We ordered a salsa criolla didnt have any lime or salt nastiest food ever! We ask to speak to the manager he came we let him know to tell his chefs to try the food before they send it out! Instead of saying he apologizes for the inconvenience he asked us where we where from like it that matters ridiculous! He said that they have never had an issue with there lomos before still didn’t apologize. We didnt even eat our food at this point and asked for the check he charged us for the 4 lomos that we didnt eat. Hopefully no customers come here if I can rate the restaurant I would give it a zero. I feel that as a manager if your staff screws up you take the blame for it and apologize as a respectful and decent way! Never will come back worst experience ever waste of my time...

If you are looking for some great Guatemalan food this is the place to go in Stamford, CT. I tried their Taco Salad and the pupusas. I highly recommend both them because the salad was done to perfection. In a crusted tortilla bowl with grill chicken and the pupusas were just done well. I'm Salvadorean and this place make them very well. The way how the chicharron (pork) tasted; I have not had it before. I got a chance to meet the owner and the manager - they were very friendly. I had lunch and dinner with my family of 4; told the manager and owner we were from Long Island. I highly recommend there bread (pan dulce) because it's home made and fresh. The horchacha was great as well their Pantera Rosa, Piña Colada, and house margarita. The price was very reasonable for party of four. Anytime we travel to Connecticut we'll be looking forward to stopping again at...

Went to this place with my family and found a hair on my salad. Right after this my daughter finds a metal wrapping from a bread bag on her tacos. After these 2 inconveniences as a family we couldn't enjoy our dinner. We were more concerned about what else was on our food. I spoke to the waitress and she apologized and told me she was going to talk to the manager. The manager never show up to see us. We paid and left the place promising to never return again. He did not care at all of what just happened to us. Luckily my daughter didn't swallow the metal because the story and review for this place wouldn't be this one. If you come here just keep an eye on what you eat...
