Morgan's Dairy Bar & Calf-A — Restaurant in Stanley

Being a former employee of Morgan’s let me tell you it is less than unprofessional. While I was employeed there our boss smoked marijuana with one of the employees while she was on the clock. Speaking of employees you will never see a male employee working at Morgan’s besides the boss. This is because he refuses to hire male employees which is absolutely illegal. If you think there is no reasoning for his decision on hiring all teenage girls you’d be wrong because very inappropriate things were said/sent to a specific employee who was 17 at the time. If that isn’t enough for you there is a fake sanitation grade directly above an open ice bucket even though the place was covered in roaches. Employees including myself were scheduled to work 11-12 hour shifts without a single break. If we were to eat while on the clock our boss would ask how many calories was in what we were eating and other offensive things were said to us regularly. Not to mention when firing people they would take them off the schedule without any other words about it. Other times he would send them a text...if you were lucky. Also if you are planning on tipping one of the girls who will actually be making your ice cream DONT put change in their tip jar. All of the change goes to the boss they only get the dollars. I'm giving a two star rating because the drinks and ice cream are five star but the service and prices are terrible, less than one. Two specialty espresso drinks cost us seventeen dollars. At that cost you would expect an expert bartista to mix your drink but all of the employees are school aged girls. They don't greet you upon entering or even ask for your order for that matter. You have to call them over and tell them you would like to order. They barely even speak to you because they are too busy standing around on their phones or playing around with each other like they are at a sleep over. Its honestly one of the most unproffesional establishments I have ever been to. Although my boyfriend is acquaintance's with the owner. Every time we leave there he says he should call him and let him know how the place is being run when he isn't there. Which we have never seen him there once, so maybe that is...

Not longer kid-friendly Just came by with my grandson to get ice cream on the way to see my Mom. I ordered a strawberry sundae, a banana split and my grandson got 2 scoops of Oreo ice cream in a cup. As we were paying my grandson politely asked the girl with glasses how they made the Oreo ice cream. Her reply was "I don't know, I don't make it" I understand that she's basically a child herself but would it have been so hard to say "Someone crushes the cookies and mixes it with vanilla ice cream?" I guess talking to the young man behind the counter about coffee was more important than being courteous to a paying customer, especially if it's a 7 yr old child. I won't be back and I discourage anyone with small children NOT to visit here. Also my Mother said that the walnuts on her sundae were stale and there were barely any strawberries. This place...
