Stopped in here for lunch about 11:45am to give it a try. 3 employees hovering over a counter end. No greeting when we came in. When I explained I hadn’t been here before and asked what was the best, the guy said the pulled pork was “okay”. No personalities, the ambiance was bleak. The food was alright, but nothing you couldn’t get at a chain restaurant. The service down right sucked! When I asked about the ribs, I was told that they won’t have any for another 45 mins. Yet they opened at 11am.. after receiving our food, the 3 employees went back to gabbering and looking at their phones. No one asked us how our food was or even bothered to check on us. A few minutes later in walks what I’m guessing is the manager, with a toddler in her arms. She walked behind the counter with toddler and as she was taking cash from the till set the toddler down and let her run around in the cooking area where two other employees played with her. This place is operated by young people with zero desire to be better or improve the quality of the environment. Needless to say I Do NOT recommend eating here. Never once did I witness an employee wash their hands. If this were my business I’d be ashamed of the people I was paying to make my business successful. Note to the owner: Clean House and find people that want a business to survive. Note to “the manager”, don’t bring your kids to work and if you do, don’t let them run around where food is being prepared.
Changed to a 1 star for the shear fact of response from said owner. I didn’t hide who I was, I review places all over the entire NW. A polite response is definitely too much for this business. I’m sorry that you can not handle constructive criticism. For this simple fact, I will definitely not give this business a...
Read moreOh no Dickey's! I'm so disappointed. I've been waiting months for you to open down the street from my office. I adjusted my budget in anticipation of the delicious Dickey's salads that would be my lunch frequently. But when I came into your newly opened store, I found out this location is not serving salads. You're missing an opportunity here. Star needs a place to get a good, quick salad. To top it off you also don't have mayonnaise?! You serve meat sandwiches. Am I the only one that puts mayo on my meat sandwich? Not to mention this is the land of fry sauce. What better combo than some delicious Dickey's bbq sauce and mayo to dip your delicious fries in? Hard to make fry sauce without mayo. Anyway, I guess I should thank you because you are going to be saving me lots of money. I'll still be in on occasion just not as much as I thought I would be. Also, the guy that was cutting the meat (that broke my heart when he informed me there was not a salad option) was friendly and welcoming. I appreciate good customer service. Also appreciate the golf channel being on. Hoping that the lack of salad and mayo is temporary and just part of getting your new store open? If that changes in the future I will readjust my budget again and get to know your friendly employees on a first name basis. Until then,...
Read moreIt makes me really sad to write this but someone has to. I worked at a Dickey's around 3 years ago, back then it was my favorite restaurant. It has also been about 3 years since I've eaten there, with that come's my issues. Everything I received in my door dash order tasted extremely... well... cheap... I got a 3 meat plate with turkey, jalapeno cheddar kielbasa, and beef brisket. I got more fat with my brisket then I did meat, the turkey had no flavor and was extremely dry, and my kielbasa looked like it had been sitting under a warmer for hours. My sides where Mac and cheese, and fried okra. The mac and cheese wasn't very creamy, it had more of the "under a lamp for an hour then mixed" taste to it. The okra on the other hand wasn't bad, it was cooked well, but what ever seasoning is used now isn't very good, it's boring. I also got Texas toast. Very, very disappointed in the Texas toast. It's no longer Texas toast, it is regular toast. Anyone who knows what Texas toast is, knows that it's a complete different of bread, not just sandwich bread... At the end of the day if I am paying Twenty-one dollars for a meal I would like quality items, especially since I know that the quality used...
