Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Star

They always, always mess your order up. The store, inside and out is disgustingly dirty. Employees are very rude and disgustingly dirty as well. Your food boxes will always be covered in greasy fingerprints. They never have any responsible adults working. They finally got a new young blonde girl who is polite, but she messes up the orders too. The employees cuss very loud, smoke by the front door, eat in the dining area and hang out. Last time I was there, everyone's order was late and messed up. An employee was eating in the dining area and another came out talking to him, bad mouthing customers and saying customers were lying to get free food. We all had to sit and listen to the boys in the kitchen have a very extensive and loud conversation and their anus. It was incredibly disgusting and foul. Especially due to the fact they were making our food and there were kids who could hear. The thing I found most offensive is the boy talking about his anus yelled for the nice, female worker (Whitney) to come and look at his colon. She was incredibly embarrassed and uncomfortable. That is what we call sexual harassment in the real world and Pizza Hut could get themselves sued in a heartbeat letting staff get harassed. However, you can call the main office in Boise, go online, call Pizza Hut global headquarters and not even get a phone call or email back. They literally dont care. They also messed up my order and charged too much, but wouldnt refund my money. I had to take a store credit. Another man's order was messed up and one of the cooks got a huge attitude with him saying "well, it's not my fault and i had no idea you were waiting so long." The place honestly...

Just a quick update from a former employee. This message is directed towards potential future employees.

They will give you about 3-4 hour shifts about 3-4 days a week. Biweekly pay is horrendous. There is a young female manager there currently at the star location who is rude, and quite frankly unfit for any management position, in my opinion. I have worked concrete, private security, so on and so forth, and have never had such an extremely difficult person to work with. She once demanded me to run inside the kitchen area where the surface could be wet, slippery just to give me a hard time, despite the fact that I was doing my job correctly and safely.She would often be using her phone and not paying attention to her employees. She would demand I go home 1-2 hours before my scheduled shift ended and wouldn’t give me an explanation. She also wouldn’t answer any of my questions and was extremely rude and disrespectful.

I ultimately quit between all of those reasons. Bear in mind, she is a temperamental 18 year old temporary substitute manager, who was filling in for the manager who was on vacation. She was very overbearing and I can confidently say she had very little of the company/employee’s best interests in mind. She is very verbally hostile and I wouldn’t wish her supervision upon any potential job seekers!

Hope this is helpful. I’m very satisfied with my departure from this job, i now work elsewhere and would feel wrong if I didn’t spread awareness of how poorly this manager acted. It’s despicable. I called to order a pizza. I asked if they had any specials and was told “no.” (I’ve never heard of a pizza place not having any specials.) then the person who took my order didn’t know how to take a payment over the phone and left me on hold for 15 minutes while he was getting the manager. Eventually I hung up and called back.

After processing my payment they got off the phone quickly and I don’t remember them telling me how long it would be before my order was delivered. An hour later I called back to ask about the status of our order. I was told that my pizza was out for delivery. I live no more than 15 minutes from the store, after 20 minutes with still no pizza, I tried to call back again and they picked up and immediately hung up on me. I called back again and they picked up and immediately put me on hold without even saying hello.

I think this is the first negative review I have ever left on Google. If you are under staffed or you messed up and forgot something, just own up to it.

When our pizza was finally delivered, it was barely warm, and I’ve had frozen pizzas that tasted better than this.
