We ordered two pizza to go. One was a White Pizza and the other a Bikini Bottom. The pizzas were perfectly cooked. The only issue is there was no flavor. The tomato sauce on the bikini bottom was flavorless. I love San Marzano tomatoes but there was no other seasoning added. No flavor at all. The ricotta, which is one of my favorite ingredients, was straight ricotta. They make a nice pie and they use good ingredients. But it all lacks flavor. No salt, no nothing. If they could figure that out, it would be amazing pizza. Honestly, for the money go to the cheaper places. This is not it. Maybe a straight pepperoni pizza would be the way to go, hoping the pepperoni adds flavor. We did not finish the pizza.
Update: The owner reached out and I do appreciate local businesses. So, I changed my review to four stars for that reason. I am a fan of bold flavors. Maybe that is my downfall. But the White Pizza tasted like nothing but roasted garlic and oil. The ricotta doesn’t come through at all. And the bikini bottom tastes nothing like a Hawaiian. Crunchy pineapple and jalapeños. That’s the whole flavor profile. Nothing worked together on either pizza to build a cohesive and tasty pizza. Maybe I should have had some...
Read morePizza was alright. Just dough and cheese couldn’t find the sauce. I got the say cheese. It was too wet of a pizza and too much cheese for the crust to handle. Hard to believe a pizza was to cheesy I know. Might have made it without the feta. But I didn’t get any pictures unfortunately. Has good potential. They need to close the front doors in early June or get an air curtain super muggy when I went. As for beer on tap I got to say they handled that with the most care I’ve ever consumed. That being said a place can’t survive on beer alone. They need to perfect the pizza. Basel needs to be put on after the pizza is finished when fresh. Friend ordered the margarita. (If you can make an Italian margarita pizza perfectly you can make it in the classic stone oven restaurant game) However theirs was burnt on the crust quite badly the Basel was completely black or withered to nothing and tasted of nothing but cracked black pepper. Clearly made next to mine which has fresh black cracked pepper on it. As a first time experience I had a good time but at the price of what should have been quality pizza was not met with the food. Will likely return as it was not a negative one but expectations...
Read moreMy friends and I visited this restaurant on this Sunday evening really excited to try this new restaurant. Everything went smoothly up until we ended up waiting an hour and a half for our food. After waiting this long, our orders started coming out but only one at a time, with about ten minutes in between each one. After it had hit the two hour mark and one of my friends hadn't received her pizza, we asked our waitress Emma about it and she had said she would check on it. She came back about fifteen minutes later to say she forgot to put the ticket in, and that there were four other pizzas in front of hers so it would still be about thirty minutes. Our waitress did not seem to care, did nothing about it, and didn't report it to her manager to try to help. We eventually brought up our concerns nicely to the manager after not even getting refills and having to chase down our waitress for our checks, and the manager didn't care either. The entire time the place was practically empty, and nobody wanted to help us. We just wanted our food, which ended up being mediocre. Would not...
