Uno Mas Tacos y Tequila — Restaurant in Starkville

Addendum: Uno Mas contacted me via email and was able to fix this situation. Part of the mix-up had to do with the order going through in a location other than the one which was intended. I appreciate Uno Mas's management working to resolve the situation without accusing or blaming, but just fixing an issue. It's always a good thing when an establishment can take a problem and move towards a solution. We'll plan on visiting the establishment to eat next time we're in town!

I had high hopes to enjoy this place and put in an order on Uno Mas's website about 40 minutes before they closed. I then called 10 minutes later to be sure the food would be ready on time, at which time I was told the kitchen was closed early due to low orders. I was frustrated but told the manager I understood. She said I'd be refunded, but this was not immediately done. See...

The two tamale dishes are pretty good, the two burritos I had were bland, and the tacos were good.

The "P5 burrito" with just chicken was bland, the queso providing the only flavor. The other burrito was a steak and chicken mix, it wasn't bad but I was never told that would be an extra $3, that meal wasn't worth the $20 for a coke and burrito.

The tacos were tacos. Not bad, not great, but you may as well go to La Terraza. Their tacos are better for pretty much the same price.

Also, pretty much expect to walk to this place. Parking in the Cotton District for all intents and purposes doesn't exist.

Overall, the food isn't bad. But the lack of parking and the flavor/taste ratio isn't worth more than 3 stars. If you drive by and see one of the eight parking spaces are open, get the tamales. Otherwise go...

Really average wings. They were large, just like they were advertised, but we asked for Hot and you couldn't taste any flavor. They were basically just normal wings. I think I would be more willing to give more stars if they improved the little things. We ordered 15 Wings to go and it was $14.99 with no sides, and with tax and the extra ranch cup it ended being $17. The lady over the phone never asked for our name and when we showed up she was confused about which order was ours and handled herself unprofessionally. They gave us one ranch cup for 15 wings and we had to pay extra for another one. Also, they only gave us 3 tiny things of celery, I'm talking like an inch a piece.
