Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Starkville

I have not been by Jersey Mike’s in a while, so I stopped yesterday to get my usual #56, absolutely love the sandwich. Last time I was there it was a little less than $15 which I thought was high, well let me share this with you, yesterday the same # 56 was$17.83 with tax. I had pre-ordered it so I took it. On my way home I was thinking, this is the absolute best sandwich you can get but almost $18 for a ft. long sandwich with nothing else is beyond ridiculous. I got home and enjoyed the last Jersey Mike’s sandwich I will do until things get back to normal if they ever do. It’s not that the food is not great, it’s just the fact I’m retired and $18 dollars for a ft. long is out of my price range. Oh well, guess it will take several people with the same feelings as me to change their mind. A serious drop in customers will result in a drop in prices. Have a good day !!!

I have been going to this location for over two years now. After a long day at work I decided to treat myself to Jersey Mike's. I ordered a giant Chipotle Cheesesteak with double meat which I had ordered many times before. I payed 25 dollars for this sandwich which seemed more than they usually charge. Once I received my sandwich I opened it and it looked like they didn't even give me extra meat much less the double meat that I paid for. The sandwich was extremely small with barley any meat on it. I went back in to the restaurant and they told me they had put on double steak which I believe was just a lie to save themselves the trouble of having to do anything. Very disappointed with this location. The workers never follow instructions and I’m always either missing something or something is wrong with my order. How hard is it to follow instructions from an online order??? Simple instructions at that. I guess they close at 8:50 instead of 9. Tried calling to tell them about my order being messed up and the phone ring for 10 minutes straight. I ordered a Philly with unmelted cheese. Asked them for light mayo and got a lot. Asked for my sandwich to be cut in half and it wasn’t. Ordered plain lays and received baked. The lack of effort when people spend their money at these places is extremely frustrating to deal with.
