RUDE RUDE RUDE, just plain ol' ugly. Will never go back! Went to the counter to ask one of the clerks a question, she quickly told her manager who came out with box in his hand and said I'll be right with you (so I waited). After 10 minutes standing, I took a seat for another 10-15 minutes. It was around 1:30 on a Friday afternoon and there may have been 30-40 people tops sitting in and approx. 10 wait staff members, but the manager portrayed the image of being so busy, he couldn't stop to address me, he just had to hand the customer her order rather than 2 or 3 of the wait staff sipping tea, but I kindly waited until I notice the two waiters at the counter snicker and say he's ignoring her. I went to the counter to see I could leave my contact information the store manager to contact me and with a rude shrug of her shoulder and a frown turned to her manager and said "Can you help her?", who in turn acted as though he was agitated that I had a question after I had sat there over 20 minutes while he walked by as though he didn't see me standing there. When he finally comes over to address me, he spoke to me as though I was a child. I wasn't upset that he didn't want to provide promo or coupon cards for an educational event, but it was how I was address. Read moreI have visited my cousin in Starkville for many years, and we always go to McAlister's whenever I'm in town. However, I was NOT impressed by this recent visit we made today. The food was great, don't get me wrong. It was more so the attitude of some of the workers that rubbed me the wrong way. I get it: it's lunch time, and the workers are trying hard to accommodate everyone even though it's extremely busy. What's different about today, though, is that it looked like they were VERY short-staffed (I'm talking about two people total working in front, not including the managers/supervisors/whoever is in charge) and therefore were more snappy at their customers. My cousin asked the person who delivered our food to remake her salad without the onions (she's allergic to them), and she gave her a very irritated look before taking it away and walking off. In addition, we were sitting near the registers and noticed (I'm guessing) the head manager being very condescending whenever someone made a complaint. I hope it gets better next time I visit, because this was honestly disappointing...

I ordered a choose 2, w/ the ultimate nachos & the sandwhich, when I opened the box, my nachos were in the SAME container as my sandwhich w/ chips & lettuce wilted underneath.. why would you choose to put nachos & a sandwhich in the same container, I really dont know. Fast forward to some weeks, I reordered JUST the ultimate nachos, and all they gave me were cheese sauce & tomatoes. The only thing they could do to “help” was give me some chilli….. what am i going to do w/ one random bowl of chilli? I asked for them to just replace the whole thing, and apparently they cant do that since the only thing that was missing was the chili.. Asking for a refund would have confused them even more.
