Captain D's — Restaurant in Statesboro

I have been frequenting the establishment because I am from out of town and I am pescatarian. Normally, the food is up to par, however and experience that occured on 06.07.17 changed my perception. I always order the blackened trout meal with okra and brocolli. I was unable to pick up my lunch due to the fact that I had conference calls all day. When my food arrived, it was charred to say the least. The fish was so burned that it made my rice black. I called and spoke to the m.o.d. Diane. She gladly said that she would replace the meal if I returned the uneaten portion. I felt that that was a direct insult to me. I wasnt able to make it in to exchange my meal. However, I will return today with the 30 receipts that I have accumulated over the last few months to prove that I am not in search of a 8.00 meal ticket! Very disappointed in her...

Because one is a damn lie I Went through drive thru and instead of a friendly greeting I was greeted with a “Captain Ds” in a very bland I don’t want to be here voice followed by a rude and agitated “CAPTAIN Ds” I’ve worked in fast food and customer service and I know that’s is not how you talk to customers. This place doesn't even deserve the 1 whole star I gave it, but unfortunately you have to give at least 1! The customer service is HORRIBLE!!! Rude workers who are agressive, loud & ignorant! Unclean lobby! Definitely don't recommend this place to ANYONE & it's such a shame because I love Captain D's food, but I will not spend another penny at this location!!
