Daylight Donuts — Restaurant in Statesboro

I just don’t understand why be rude for no reason, I work in customer service, I get if someone’s rude to you.. I wasn’t rude. The girl asked me what I wanted and I said “I’m sorry I don’t know what any of the flavors are”, and then she just kinda stared at me and I said “what flavors are these” and she named them and then I pointed at the back wall where the donuts were and said “are those for sale” and she said yes, I then said “what are those” and she looked at me like I was an idiot and said “donuts” with an attitude, yes clearly they are donuts, what flavors, I just told you idk what flavors y’all have, I responded with “what flavors” and she zoomed through the list annoyed, I ended up just getting the cinnamon roll because I was fed up and didn’t wanna ask her again, she once again gave me attitude, she said “the ones with no raisin?” I said “yes” and then she annoyed said “without or with raisin” and I repeated myself “withOUT”. The girl at the register seemed atleast somewhat friendly and told me and my boyfriend to have a good day but at that point I was annoyed with the whole experience. The cinnamon roll and donuts weren’t good so nothing made up for it, way too sweet for me, and I love sweet, but it was too much for me. Felt like all I tasted was glaze sugar and not much of that warm cinnamon comforting taste, my boyfriend had the glazed donuts and when I mentioned how sweet mine was he said he was just about to say the same thing about his donuts. I was so excited to try this nice shop. It's hard to find a really good donut. The atmosphere was very accommodating. It felt like an older donut shop where people sat and talked while enjoying donut and coffee. The service was very friendly. Samantha was very pleasant and helpful. As for the food, the cinnamon rolls, mini fried cini rolls were amazing heated up. The fried mini crossiant was tasty but I bet it is better fresh or heated up. There were no bismarcks. They go fast, lol. The apple fritters were ok. A little flat and very light on the apples but still edible. I didn't try the breakfast foods but I would definitely return because I really want the bismarcks. The pricing is a little high but so is other vendors. Let me start off by saying this review is not a reflection of their food. Their donuts, breakfast sandwiches, and coffee are all tasty. However I’m highly disappointed with their service!!! We arrived at 11:34AM on Saturday, April 6th and were told they were closed. No one even bothered to come to the window - they just looked at us and mouthed “we’re closed”. Not to mention, the initial worker who saw us in the window just stared at us while we sat there hoping to order. I understand being ready to go, but it wasn’t even closing time yet. The hours on the window say 12 noon is closing time. Is this a normal thing to close 26 minutes early and try to ignore potential customers? We may try to give them our business again, but I’m...
