I used to love coming to this location, (sadly, the customer service has significantly declined during evening shift. NEVER had a problem during the day!) even though the windows disabled accessibility sign says pull to the window, the employee is already exasperated before we decide to pull around) the exasperation from employees isnt because hubby cant hear, but because the person on drive thru cant handle taking an order above 3 combos. (We are a family of 4, and we each order the same thing every time). We now opt for the other location. Upon entering the store to order, instead of dealing with being made to feel unwelcome at a place that seems to be proud to be based in North Carolina, so the cognitive dissonance is most definitely alive. Because when i went in to order instead, thinking it may be easier, because the dine in area was empty, the girl working the front took my order no problem. I heard the drive thru people discuss the type of customer i am. (Good thing i dont hold any weight of opinions from people i dont even know, but others may not!) As someone who is gifted with soft skills, a little better performance to keep customers could have even been at least a performance until customers left. š (cognitive dissonance between a customer having a good experience for repeat business was another definite.) I would also like to add, that this is not the first time. (I generally dont give bad reviews anywhere unless the place is dirty, i observe cross contamination, or if the crew is repeatedly disrespectful) Upper management may want to take an anonymous look at this locations behavior of the night staff and their customer service skills, possibility of burnout, or just general disregard of customers. Definitely business suicide for smaller businesses. Bo Jangles probably has a strong sense of business security, so i dont look for any of that to be happening. Im not a complainer at all, as i know these jobs are low paying with usually the work of 2 or 3 people, but this crew is ALWAYS fully staffed when i have to go in to order) now, however, i feel like taking the time to make this review could be very helpful to others (who may not have come to the same conclusion we have). Thank you, Statesville, for the location at the crossroads! You can tell they actually have staff trained in customer service, and not adamant about customer DISSERVICE. (BY The way, the order was wrong even after all of my attempts to make sure it was taken in a way that wouldnt distress the crew...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNot an ideal experience here at this specific Bojangles.
I had been to this location and generally, I like the Bojangles franchise and food options. However, at this particular place, I have had multiple orders be incorrect or missing items.
On my most recent visit here, I used the drive-thru, which had an AI ordering assistant, which was surprisingly accurate. I was then given my receipt after paying which was also accurate.
Then I waited probably 10 minutes for my order in my car outside the drive-thru window. Still received nothing, then was told to go park in one of the "to go" spots to wait further. I waited another 10 minutes, then an employee came out, gave me the wrong order, and then took the order back. I waited a few minutes again, and the employee came back out and gave me the "correct order" after looking at my receipt. For some reason, she was very angry and short with me about giving me the order even though I didn't even say anything to anyone and only said thank you.
I drove off and only after looking in my order bag, I learned that I was missing not one, but TWO biscuits that I had ordered that were on my receipt, which is not the first time I have had missing items from this restaurant. I was also missing a straw for my drink and any sort of spork/utensil for the rice I ordered.
The food I did receive was pretty good, which is usually the case for Bojangles. However this experience will make me hesitant to try or visit this location again in the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst time we arrived at 8:00pm and the place was empty. The manager told us the dining room was closed even though the door and online said they stayed open until 10. She allowed us to sit down and eat anyways but we were uncomfortable as we felt as though we were holding them up. The whole line was broke down and the food was meh. I thoughtā¦.. well every restaurant has an off day so we went back to grab my son an early dinner late lunch and went through the drive through. The lady asked if I can came through the line earlier and order the same thing and drive off. I was likeā¦ā¦Oh no I didnāt. And she said thatās weird like I was lying. When I got to the window she didnāt say heyā¦. Didnāt make and didnāt make any eye contact. She took my card, swiped it and handed it back. Still not one word out of her mouth. Then she handed me his drink (Cheerwine) which was leaking down the whole entire side of the cup. She seen itā¦. Looked right at me and handed it over. I asked for napkins and she looked so inconvenienced. Handed me his box, napkins and closed the window. She never said a word the entire time. Iāll drive to either of the two locations before I EVER...
