East Coast Wings + Grill — Restaurant in Statesville

Worst service I ve ever encountered. Server was not rude, just lazy. Kids drinks were brought to the table, however they didn't bring mine and my wife's drinks. The lady that brought the kids drinks told us she would bring our drinks. A while had past and our waitress came back and said oh I forgot to tell her your drinks. Still didn't have them. This place was not that busy. She finally brought our drinks and took our order. We ordered the kids food and ordered a wing platter for us to share. After a while she brought out our appetizer. She brought 1 plate and said here's 1 plate we are out of plates right now.... I'm sorry huh? How can you be out of plates? We said ok that's fine. She said she would bring out more plates when they get cleaned. A while passes and another girl brings out the kids food. Says your other meals will be right out. 10-15 mins later we got our wings and the kids were done eating. So we get our wings and each flavor is in a separate bowl. Ok thought it was on a platter but still didn't say anything. She forgot 1 of the flavors so we had to ask her to go get the rest and ranch. She said they were all out of ranch but she'd get plates and silverware. At this point we have been overly nice. She went to two other tables both seemed like friends of hers and kept going to the computer. She passed by and I asked for plates and silverware as we still didn't get any. She brought back the other wings. Still no plates and silverware. 10 mins have passed and I yelled across the room to another girl and asked her for silverware and plates. She went to two other tables still no silverware. A guy walked by and I said excuse me we have asked for silverware and plates 3 times now and we are now sitting here with cold food. Our drinks were not refilled one time even after being in there for an hr. He was so nice, apologized and immediately got silverware. Still no plates. I asked him for plates again. At this point we just wanted to box up our food and go. I could tell he wanted to say they were out of plates but he didn't. He went to the back... took about 5 mins or so and came back with plates that he handwashed himself. Poor kid I told him it's too late at this point we just want to go. Please bring boxes. The waitress walked by and said I'll get you your ranch in a min. Huh??? I'm sorry I thought you were out of ranch!!! Now all of a sudden ranch has appeared in the restaurant? I said I just want our check and boxes. She didn't even look concerned or ask if there was anything she could do. She said ok and went to get our check. The guy brought back the boxes very quick and the waitress came back with 3 heaping containers of ranch to go. I was so dumbfounded as she told us they were out of ranch. At this point we just wanted to box up our food and get out of there. I've never had worse service in my life. We wasted almost two hrs. Btw the waitresses name was kei. If you ever go to this restaurant and get her as your waitress ask for...

I am visiting from Florida and my friends decided to take me to East Coast Wings on Monday July 12th, 2021. When we arrived to the establishment, the first red flag was that they still had the July 4th business taped to the door a whole week later after that holiday! We brought it up to the 2 guys that was standing by the hostess counter and they act so shock that it was still there! Their were only 2 other parties when we arrived and they stuck us to the very corner. Ok cool! Our waitress showed up and my friend asked if she can have a pina colada. The waitress wasn't sure if they could make it so she left us to go check. She eventually came back and said they don't have a blender. 😒 ok no problem, she ordered a large angry orchard. The waitress then arrived with 1 1/2 glasses of beer and said we out of large glasses so I had to bring it like this😒🙄. So all 3 of us proceeded to order our food. My friend ordered a Philly cheese steak and requested for mushrooms to be added. My other friend ordered a burger and fries with 5 Wings and my order was 12 piece boneless Wings and a side order of fries. While waiting on our food, my friend ordered a corona. Why after the waitress delivered the beer to our table, she came back like 15 minutes later and was like "oh and BTW, that's the last corona we have" . What the hell?!!! Oh and let me not forget, we wanted celery and carrots but that would be an extra $1 and they no damn carrots!!!!!! I mean at this point I was going to ask, "why are you even open"? When she finally delivered our food, we THEN had to ask her, where is the Wings we ordered? She then looked as is confused then said "oh I forgot to order for you" 🙄😐. Don't get me started on my boneless Wings, I bite into 2 of them and that definitely wasn't chicken. I have no idea what I bite into. After the horrible experience we asked for our bill. The waitress then said "oh i had to ask the manager to take off the pina colada of the bill since we didn't have it". What the heck you mean you had to take it off?! It shouldn't of been on there to begin with if you told us that you don't have a blender!!! My friends were so embarrassed because they spoke so highly of this restaurant before they brought me here and I am sure they won't be coming back...

I have had some bad experiences with ECW&G on Broad Street, but last night's dinner took the cake. Not one thing was right with it.

First off, your "new menu" excuse for the reason we waited an hour for our food is utter bull. There were like maybe 5-6 items new on the menu that we saw, and none of what we ordered was on it. I'm not sure I even want to try your new stuff, after what you served us.

Second our waitress showed ABSOLUTELY no interest in serving us. The whole night, she might have asked us how we were doing maybe TWICE. Our drinks went dry. And, I don't want to hear about how she was slammed. I watched her stand at the cash register for a total of 45 minutes the whole time.

Third, when we finally got our food, it was almost inedible. Dana's mac and cheese was cold, my chili tasted like it had been cooked three hours ago and left to sit, plus I didn't get it medium like I asked THREE TIMES for. My quesadilla was lukewarm, but I was beyond hungry so I ate it anyway.

Management promised to talk about some kind of redress, but when the bill came, nothing. Except for a crappy appetizer which I wasn't even supposed to eat.

I almost took a pair of scissors and cut up my frequent meals card and left the pieces...
