Los Compadres Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Statesville

Update! 📢 Visited this restaurant for the 2nd time recently due to me being out of town. First was a year ago with my original review from last year further down below. I want to say just how impressed I am with Los Compadres Mexican Grill here! The inside ambiance is really nice.. Now here is the important part of this review, the waitress I had was Marianna... Marianna was simply absolutely amazing! She was "consistently" and abundantly nice the entire time while dining in! Marianna is the best waitress that I have ever had out of all the restaurants I've ever been to which is a lot! The second part I would like to say is how amazing the food was! After deciding on what to get I got the Mexicana burrito and oh my gosh it was out of this world, excellent in taste and great in presentation, cooked to perfection and worth the wait! I reordered my horchata for more of a fresher batch and it came out good however next time I probably will just get a soda drink... I again give this restaurant five stars! 🌟🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

For my first time being at this restaurant I was enormously impressed! ""Juana "" my waitress had a genuine and authentic professional an extremely nice attitude! She had perfect customer service and the way she served the table. She was kind and attentive and went over and above that which a typical or normal waitress would do. Juana was GREAT!! The food was great the portion size was really good and the taste was what I expected and more! I'm looking forward to returning to this restaurant again with my expectation to be just as it was the first time and that's why I'm leaving five stars and would leave more stars if I could!!!!!...

My husband and I along with another couple had dinner here for our first time on February 17, 2023. I believe the name of our waitress was “Yuliana” and she was fantastic! She has a fun and cheerful personality along with excellent customer service skills. She was very good about checking on us and keeping our drinks filled. The food was superb! We all agreed it’s the best Mexican food we’ve ever had. The salsa was really good but just a bit too spicy for us so Yuliana brought mild salsa to mix with it and that made the “heat” perfect. The manager stopped by to check on us which I thought was very nice. He had a pleasant personality, entertaining sense of humor and knew how to interact with his customers. We ordered margaritas which were made by him and they were quite delicious! This was the first Mexican restaurant I’ve been in where I didn’t walk out smelling like I worked at the grill in the kitchen thanks to the type of ventilation system that’s in place. If we didn’t live an hour away, we’d go back a lot more often. But, we are in Statesville at least once a month, if not more, so we'll definitely stop by for a wonderful meal, fruity margaritas and see our new friends again sometime. Go and see for yourself. Where to start with this I would never pay 25 dollars for the immense pain I am feeling currently in my stomach after eating here the food that everyone seems to enjoy was incredibly bland I could have been happier eating at taco bell for less money and less likely have to have the lower 4 foot of my intestines removed it took an act of God to get a refill the enchilada my wife ordered was covered in a sauce that tasted like death just to cover a damn tortilla with cheese in it the chips were cold as hell but none comparison to the staff I've met cadavers with more personality than our waitress who insisted on taking my staw out of my cups as I was trying to drink it glad I wasnt that second refill I was bought out of a 45 experience i had here was so a damn hassle to you where you felt the need that i was done and probably took it to someone right across the restaurant and gave to them to drink so from the over priced bland food horrible service and probably what will end up being sepsis my recommendation is go buy taco bell or a frozen burrito itll be better and cheaper less likely to kill you and you dont have to deal with zombies to get...
