Cozumel — Restaurant in Statesville

Service is ok, food is ok. I'm Mexican, and everytime I go I have to force myself to try something new, because the last meal wasn't authentic, or good. Found 4 dishes, out of the multitude offered, that I can eat. Still need to ask for corn tortillas. Horchata is not good. Good luck getting more than 1 napkin. My 3 yr old eats the salsa like it's soup, literally. So obviously not spicy, or tasty. Pico de gallo added to the salsa, makes it better. A place good for groups. I've had to go there multiple times for family events. Not my choice. But again, I found a few dishes, after the countless times I've been there.

Food and service is always excellent in the restaurant. Take out is always excellent as well as long as you call and pick up. I ordered through door dash. Pick up only. The restaurant was closed. Called the next day they told me to call door dash. I explained I just wanted the food I paid for. Refused to do that. Seemed reasonable to me but no call door dash. I did door dash customer service people are not helpful if you can ever get them. Called back to the restaurant. They said you have to deal with door dash. Not ethical or honest. But that's ok you stole from me. Never do business with you or door dash ever again. Best of...

I ORDERED A BEEF TACO SALAD FOR LUNCH WENT ON MY LUNCH BREAK PICKED IT UP CAME BACK TO WORK WENT TO EAT THE SALAD AND IT WAS A CHICKEN TACO SALAD AND I DO NOT EAT CHICKEN. SO I CALLED BACK TO THE RESTAURANT SPOKE TO A LADY WHO APOLIGIZED AND SAID THAT SHE WOULD PUT MY NAME ON THE TICKET AND HANG IT UP ALL I HAD TO DO WAS CALL BACK ANY TIME AND THEY WOULD REMAKE IT. SO I CALL BACK TODAY AND THEY CLAIM THEY DO NOT HAVE A TICKET AND THEY DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE MESSUP.
