⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Sushi, Big Portions, and Even Bigger Menu! This sushi spot has been the best find since moving from California! The quality is legit, and for the price, it’s hands-down one of the best deals I’ve come across out here. They have a mix-and-match special that gave me 20% off, which is perfect whether you’re just grabbing a few rolls or going all in. We ordered: • Super Dragon Roll • Awesome Roll • Tempura Roll • Spicy Cali Roll • Crunch Roll • Spicy Lover Roll Our order came out on a boat (literally šŸ˜‚), which was such a fun surprise. Presentation is a big deal here—even the people next to us had an epic-looking dish. But it’s not just looks—the food actually delivered. The calamari was the best thing I had all night. I’ve never had calamari like that before, and I’m already craving it again. There was no wait, even on a weekday evening, but it still felt busy in a good way. Lots of to-go orders going out and a steady flow of people dining in. The place itself is spacious and super clean. The interior designer in me couldn’t help but mentally rearrange things šŸ˜‚ but I really liked the artwork on the walls. They even had Project Runway playing, which I thought was a fun touch. Now, about the menu… it’s basically a book, plus an extra sheet of specials. It felt like a lot at first, but they don’t just do sushi—they also serve Korean, Vietnamese, and other traditional Asian dishes. It’s a lot to take in, but definitely something for everyone. One thing to note—beer comes in two different sizes, so make sure you ask when ordering. I got the smaller one by accident and was a little confused at first, but that was on me. Food came out kind of fast, but everything tasted so good that it really didn’t matter. Our dinner date was under $75, considering everything we order it was a great deal. Our server Erika was super sweet and on top of everything. Shoutout to her for making us feel taken care of. I would recommend someone solely working the front to help support the kitchen and servers. the kitchen staff were doing front desk jobs in bringing order to the front of the house. Never seen that before. All in all, I’ll definitely be back—maybe for takeout next time!

This was a very pleasant surprise! The beef and chicken in both dishes were both seasoned and cooked perfectly. Somebody back in the kitchen has skill and experience. The vegetables were similarly perfectly prepared. There was real attention to detail. The staff I saw were friendly young people working hard on a Friday night. Our waiter Sam was very helpful. One thing to improve: the miso soup was mediocre and nearly lukewarm by the time it reached the table. Sure it’s not the fanciest place, but it was delicious, affordable, and I’ll be back.

There is a lot of food for what you pay. Hibachi is pretty good. I think Rice Fun wins for the taste but Shiki wins for the value. For hibachi shrimp, I like the shrimp Rice Fun uses better for the bigger size, better flavor, and better texture. Update 2023.12: the quality of the food is still the same as before. I have eaten here a few times but sometimes the cashier/waiter girl is kind of rude. But the other employees seem very nice.

Ok I made a post on here pre-pandemic, they deserve another review. And just like before the pandemic they still shiny as a diamond of a restaurant of this area.

First lets start with the staff. They do the best they can to be attentive and aware of their customers, they seat you as quickly as they can even if its busy, and will always get started with you within minutes of sitting to get you drinks and menus for your meals.

The food. They have a lot for you to choose from, from simple teriyaki or hibachi combination meals to sushi all well made and good quality in my oppinion, and yes if you have a large group or a large appetite you can easily end up spending maybe 15-40 dollars on a meal for maybe 1-2 people. However the quality of the food and the skill and speed of the staff make it worth it.

Finally my favorite thing here, the sushi. Now when it comes to the sushi it mostly changes depending on which chef is making it. The main sushi chef tony, is absolutely amazing. To my understanding he has made sushi for years and the experience shows very well in the texture and flavor of the rolls he makes. You can always tell when tony makes the sushi its a big difference. But lets not leave the other sushi chef lacking, I believe his name is freddy and he has been working hard to make the sushi as well, I honestly can't wait for the day when I come in and order sushi and I can't tell if he made it or tony did. I look forward to that day. Now as for the price range of the sushi your looking at about 10-15 a roll honestly a very fair price considering each roll is very much equal to full meal with how filling it is. Completely worth it.

Final words. Basicly I have been coming to this exact shiki for years now and I don't think I will ever stop coming. If you are local in the area or if you are just passing through please give this place a chance and check it out, I swear...

not sure what this place is usually like but the shrimp came out looking under cooked so unfortunately we had to send it back to be cooked a little more, which i really hate doing because i hate being that person. i work in a restaurant it can be frustrating when the food gets sent back to the kitchen. it came back out definitely cooked more but something about the shrimp still tasted like mushy and just tasted wrong. so me and my family did not end up eating the shrimp, each one of us ended up eating like 2 pieces each just kind of trying it too see if it still tasted funny. when we got home we all had stomach aches and my daughter threw up. our server was very nice very friendly no problem there. we ended up just paying for the food and leaving, because we felt bad complaining about the food more then we already did.

but just righting this review because i knew something was wrong with the meat and then it made my family sick. which is not okay! you have a nice restaurant please don’t serve food that makes your customers sick! i know times are hard, but i would have even paid quality over quantity rather then getting sick!

unfortunately we will not be coming back to...
