Here’s the few issues I have with this papa John’s:
I always order light sauce, and at first it was great - I got light sauce. The last few times I’ve ordered I’ve gotten way too much sauce for a lightly sauced pizza. It drips off the pizza, I can take my finger and poke the sauce and it oozes out. It’s really disappointing when the toppings fall off of my “lightly sauced” pizza when I only have 2 toppings on the pizza. It COULD be because it’s Alfredo and the Alfredo spreads differently, but like I said it wasn’t an issue before. I even stopped ordering for a few weeks to see if it was just a fluke - nope.
The garlic knots I got today were burnt. Things happen - I get it. I called the store, sent the burnt ones back with the driver when I got my replacement because I wanted them to see I wasn’t lying - they were burned and the garlic knots are something I KNOW will be good even if my pizza isn’t. The cook should have seen they were burned, and they shouldn’t have gone out like that. Someone doesn’t care or is in too much of a hurry to do it correctly (probably why the pizza is so messed up to).
The stuffed crust - Jesus, that could have been so nice if it was done correctly. It’s just not. The middle of the pizza is cooked, the crust is doughy, so obviously there’s an issue with the temps of the oven, or their oven isn’t designed to cook the crust the way it should be. That’s not the stores fault - like I said the middle is perfect, so I think maybe focus on what you do best - hand tossed pizzas.
Overall the people who work there are nice. Charles is amazing, and Donnie is always so sweet when he delivers. I always leave a decent tip for the driver just in case I get one of these two men who just go above and beyond for customers. The lady who answered the phone was also very helpful with resolving my issues and didn’t make me feel like a burden although it sucks to have to call the store and ask for a replacement when something is burned.
I’m just leaving this review here so that MAYBE something will change. I love PJs, I love that location and I love the people who work there - but the quality is just down and it needs to be fixed. I used to only order papa John’s, but when I’m going to little Caesar’s because they’re more reliable with quality - there’s a big issue and I hope it gets fixed. All these small issues make for a really disappointing dinner and that’s not how I want to feel. I truly hope...
Read moreI went through the Papa John's app and ordered 2 large pizzas, at promotional prices. One of those pizzas was a 'pan crust', and the order was delivered. We received one large pizza, and one medium. When I called, I spoke to the manager, and was told that "when you order a large pizza, and choose the option for pan crust, it defaults to a medium-sized pizza".... I checked the website, and not once does it mention this. It does not say thAt a pan pizza defaults,to a medium, which I am certain that would effect the coupon we received. With this order, I had points on my account to receive a free cheesy bread with our order, which I redeemed. That didn't happen either.
Why would you even give the pan crust option if it isn't included In the promotion? Not to mention you boggled the toppings on both pizzas....
In other words, we will be going to Hungry Howies from here on out, where at least I know what will be delivered and they don't lie about what will be on the order. At least Hungry Howies knows basic English and arithmetic, and can build a pizza the...

What is the deal with the manager Morgan "the night manager"I called after my husband ordered a pizza that he was told they didn't have.... but do. I called back to ask about this... Apparently he didn't tell him because it wasn't what special we were interested in.....but clearly if asking we were wanted something specific.He didn't care of they had our business or not. My husband and I are both managers and I cannot beleive the way he talked to me! He was so rude and hung up on me as I was talking and after I told him I wasn't sure if I would order from them again after several problems I've had....including attitude from employees and a mosquito cooked in my pizza.
