Starbucks — Restaurant in Staunton

Thankful for this location, especially after having a rude experience today at the other Staunton Starbucks. The employees are always kind and my drinks and bakery goods are always delicious. I am a smidge obsessed with the lavender drinks and the chocolate croissant. I usually go around 6pm because I work nights and I always have a quick trip. I love being able to place mobile orders. Balancing being a full time night shift worker and a mother of two toddlers is a challenge so i’m happy to be able to count on this location to always be polite to me, even if I accidentally forget to put drive thru instead of in store. An employee at the Richmond Ave location made sure I knew she was inconvenienced because she “JUST” put it on the counter like I marked. I apologized with no response. When I thanked her when I picked up my order, she just rolled her eyes and walked away. My croissant was stale somehow. I never have anything remotely close to this experience at the Lee Jackson Hwy location so I am thankful and will stick to this side of town...

I’ve held off on reviewing due to them being newly opened, but I’ve had multiple occasions of order mess ups. The employees simply need more training on drink making and what abbreviations stand for on the tickets for drinks. Two weeks ago I did an online order for a Trenta iced coffee, and they tried to give me a tiny cup (assuming it’s their smallest size?), but I corrected them and they fixed it no problem and said the barista read it wrong. Stopped more recently for a Trenta iced coffee again with a signature roast espresso shot added (online order again), I was handed my drink and asked what I meant by signature roast. I was confused at first but explained it was the espresso shot, so she said “oh okay you’re good then”. I’m not sure it’s actually in my coffee, it tastes VERY watered down and bland for a coffee, which I’ve never had that issue before. I probably will start going back to the one by Walmart for a while until this one receives...

We pulled off the highway to get coffee. Other people in there had been waiting 35 min for their orders!!! At a coffee house! They had 4 ppl working, apparently a ton of mobile orders, and a huge drive-thru line so the people that actually got out of their cars and went inside had to wait behind all those lazy people's orders. Totally unfair. They need a better system to accommodate those who are actually in the restaurant waiting. So we ordered just coffee so we could get it quickly which we did, but then we had to interrupt them to get cream as it wasn't out anywhere. Then the coffee was not even hot and tasted as if it had been sitting for hours, which I'm sure it had been with too few employees to handle things. UNBELIEVABLE AND...
