Wendy's — Restaurant in Stephenville

Don’t get me wrong, I like Wendy’s food. Though when I wanted to place an order over the phone because I didn’t want to get my sick kids out and become even sicker. When I called Wendy’s to order, a girl answered the phone and I asked “yes ma’am. I would like to place an order.”Instead of saying yes ma’am what can I get you? She said “ oh umm.. I’m sorry we do not do call in orders.” “I said wait what? Then what the phone for?” The girl responded with well we use the phone for um like when their is a complaint, or a coworker being late or calling in something like that.” What I said to that was well that is ridiculous, wow!! And hung up. What kind of service is that? I guess they just do not want to do...

Now the food was very good as usual. But the evening of May 4th the young woman on speaker was more interested in flirting with the Sheriff's Deputy in front of us. No I didn't misconstrue her flirting. Friendly is one thing, this was way beyond customer service. 5 cars behind us left one after another because of her interest in the gentleman. I politely informed her she would be reprimanded. Then when it came time to hand us our food she handed it to another worker stating please wait on them I can't. I've never been to this Wendy's before, and I don't usually eat fast food, but I hadn't eaten all day and it was the lesser of all the evils. I had to visit the ladies room first and it was clean with the exception of the trash being full. There was nobody in line when I ordered, the cashier was friendly and knew the menu board. When I went to fill my cup, my drink of choice was out, as was my second choice so I ended up getting something I really didn't want.
