Walked in to pick up my order, stood at the front counter for literally (not over exaggerating) 20 minutes and not a single employee addressed me, they wouldn’t even look at me when they were up front in the restaurant. It wasn’t even busy. 2 Doordash drivers were waiting with me, they got fed up and decided to rummage through the bags of food that were sitting on a table near the Kitchen. Turns out my $70+ order had been done and ready the entire time I was there. Took the bag and left, can’t imagine they will be in business too long treating paying / tipping customers like that. I would rather drive the extra distance to other local Indian restaurants, that know how to treat their customers with even a modicum of respect.
Edit to add: I was standing inside at your front counter, how else would I have been able to grab my bag of food by the kitchen? What a joke of a response, once again proving that customer service here is...
Read moreHaving never tried Indian Food before this place, this was a definite risk I was a little nervous to take.
Boy was I happy I did. It has so many flavors that are familiar in terms of spice, but never in a way of being flavored together.
I initially tried Shrimp Biryani last friday, it was great and you got a lot of food for the price, but the only downside is reheating in a microwave for example. it doesn't revive well. So if you get this, I would advise maybe getting it to share.
The Chicken Tikki Masala I had tried today is the reason for this review. It was delicious, almost reminiscent of a cream based tomato soup with unique spice flavorings to it and whatever meat you choose. The only takeaway I have is I wish the chicken was a little less dry and more tender/fall apart, but I digress.
It's worth a try to come here, the person you talk to upon walking in is a very personable...
Read moreThe food we had yesterday from Deshi Kitchen was amazing!! For the first time in forever there is a NEW & FANTASTIC Indian restaurant in our area! I'm so excited that we won't have to drive over 30 minutes to get good food - if you like Indian food, this is the place to try!
Now onto the food...our's was hot & fresh (and it only took about 30 minutes for the food to be ready). You can tell that the chef has experience and truly cares about the quality of the meals they prepare. Our samosas were super tasty and tasted like they were made from scratch! We also ordered two chicken curries, garlic naan, fried rice, gulab jamuns & rasmalai from them. Everything was finger licking good!! Plus as a family of 3 we easily had leftovers for the next day.
If you like Indian food....please give this place a shot! I know my family...
