Michi BoBa Tea — Restaurant in Sterling Heights

The person who said this Bahn Mi was the best in Metro Detroit & better than ones on the west coast has NEVER had another Bahn Mi before or is a relative of the owner. This was the second to worst one I’ve come across (I’ve had them down south, in LA & NY) and for $9.50 a sandwich, that’s unacceptable.

The bread was stale with zero crunch (a signature of a real Bahn Mi) & the meat was reheated in a microwave. You can find AUTHENTIC VIETNAMESE restaurants with FRESH BREAD and actual grilled meat a few miles away for $5-$6 a sandwich. This is someone trying to capitalize on the Bahn Mi trend. Find a real Vietnamese restaurant.

This place might offer wonderful drinks, and the lady working was very kind, that’s why I didn’t give it 1 star, but I’d stay far away from the Bahn Mi if you’ve had a good one in your life and looking for something to scratch that itch. It’s far from authentic, definitely not fresh bread, and...

The food here is fire 🔥🔥. I been going here since the first week they opened and they have the best bánh mì sandwiches that I've found anywhere in the Detroit metro area. They're even better than the ones I was buying in San Diego and LA.

I've ordered every bánh mì on their menu except the vegetarian one. They're VERY decently priced for what you get, which is only like $9.50, and the sandwich is the size of a whole plate. You know you're getting a great deal when the price of the sandwich is cheaper than Costco $9.99 roast beef sandwich down the street and they are out here putting more meat inside the sandwich than Costco.

The milk tea drinks are also straight bangin 💯 and are the best in the Sterling Heights area. The 22 oz. milk tea with one topping literally only cost me $6.45 which is a STEAL considering everywhere else here charges me at least $8 for the same...

Great experience, owners son took my order, smart kid with a great future. Smoothie tasted better than tropical smoothie for sure, real fruit pulp. Great texture. High quality ingredients.
