Weāve been coming here for years and have spent thousands of dollars on legos at this store. After our experience today, we will never be coming back. Our son (who is 9 and neurodivergent) asked several times about a certain figure he was hoping to find. A sales associate (younger/dark hair/beard/glasses/drinking out of a neon green water bottle) was beyond rude to him. The first time my son asked about the minifigure this particular sales associate was super short with him and simply stared at him and said no. My son went to ask the owner the same question (because again our son is only 9 and neurodivergent and sometimes asks repeated questions) and the sales associate yelled from behind the counter āDUDE I ALREADY TOLD YOU WE DONāT HAVE IT!ā⦠he rolled his eyes, mockingly laughed, and turned to whisper to the female associate sitting next to him. Unfortunately this isnāt the first time weāve experienced rude customer service/impatience with our child. This time was the last straw. We put down the $84 set what we planned to purchase and walked out. Please train your associates to have more kindness and compassion. Legos are TOYS marketed at CHILDREN. Many neurodivergent children are obsessed with legos and I can guarantee we wont be the last family with a child who asks your associates frequent questions. If you canāt handle being asked the same question twice by a 9 year old, you absolutely need to find a new job. Loved the convenience of this store, but will gladly spend my money elsewhere...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is the most amazing toy store you can imagine. New and used lego sets. Tables filled with random legos you can sort through to find every piece imaginable. You can pieces from the newest set, and you can find pieces from sets 30 over 30 years out of production. I go in with a piece list or a wild imagination, and find the pieces to do it.
Going here is like getting into Willy Wonka's chocolate factory, but instead of everything being edible and delicious, everything here is buildable and imaginative!
I am always excited to go back, because you never know what you are going to find. New pieces are always being added. New vintage, used and new sets brought all the time.
I have been going for years, and have found all the pieces I need to build the following lego models (not MOCs, the exact same as the original designs): AT-AT from 2003, the endor bunker from 2009, a Naboo starfighter, EVERY AT-ST including the UCS AT-ST, the UCS B-Wing, republic dropship and AT-OT walker, an X-wing, over a dozen vulture droids and droid trifighters, several snowspeeders, Slave 1s, AAT, and the list goes on. At present I am working on a 12200 piece minifigure scale Sandcrawler, and I have found 83% of the pieces. 83% of 12000! Of the 650 different types of pieces I needed to find, I found every piece I needed of 500 of those types (without even substituting color and type).
This store is a dream come true...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis weekend was my first visit. As an AFOL I really enjoyed skimming through the big tables of loose elements to pick out exactly what I wanted. It was only slightly more expensive than bulk Lego prices you pay elsewhere, but like I said, you can pick out EXACTLY what you want, so that makes it a good value. I paid a little extra for a rare mini-fig I've been looking for, but I could see what I was paying for, I got it that same day, didn't have to wait for delivery or pay shipping. So that was fantastic as well! I've seen complaints of high prices, but if you know anything about Lego you know the value of some retired sets fluctuate over time and can sometimes really go up in value for rare sets, especially if it contains a rare mini-fig. I buy lots and lots of used Lego by other means and I'm elated to find another source! I really look forward to a return visit. I only wish I lived closer! In truth, I'm really jealous of the workers, I would love to be surrounded by Lego all day!! Thanks so much for...
