Hungry Howie's Pizza — Restaurant in Sterling Heights

Been ordering here for years. The usual "error" here and there but nothing major. 12/12/18 ordered a carry out. Large pizza, two toppings, easy sauce, well done. Bread and a steak sub thing. After finding one hair BAKED into the crust, I think okay stuff happens, I have hair, I know it happens. Packing up the other pizza after the family had eaten, ANOTHER LONG BLACK HAIR BAKED into the crust. Two hairs in one pizza??? I drive back up to let them know. Nasty. I get greeted with " What's the name on the order?" No hello, no welcome to hungry howies. I reply "I'd like to speak to the manager please" with a large pizza box in my hand. The girl looks at me and says "okay?" She doesn't reply " Oh that's me, how may I help you?" like a normal manager would. I get it, it's pizza. I tell her my issue, no apology just keeps saying " What would you like me to do?" I said thank you but I want the store manager to contact me. The girl points over to her right, behind this half wall, to the store manager. ( who I can't see from the lobby. She basically had to be pulled out to talk to me, even after hearing how upset I was. Any normal manager would have stepped out the minute she heard me and shut it down. Not Melissa!

Instead of stepping out and CALMING the situation down ( pretend your child had eaten this pizza) Melissa steps out, attitude all over her face. Not hi I am Melissa, she just STARES AT ME. She heard my complaint and instead of defusing the situation, she added her attitude to it. GREAT manager. It gets BETTER, a female worker, making salads with her 5 feet of long black hair hanging over her shoulders!!!!! NOT tied back and as she reaches for more toppings her hair drags across the food making counter. My money was refunded, fine, I won't ever go there again. *And before Howie responds, I DID email you guys about my visit and about the hair and about watching her make salad with her hair hanging over the food ( and that she didn't put gloves on until she heard me getting angrier) and I asked you guys to contact me. No one ever did. Poor location with very poor management. Choose Jets or anywhere else over...

My favorite thing about this place is the parking. You can pull right up, leave the car running and grab your pizza and you are out the door. I think the last time took me about 20 seconds!

The best crust is the Parmesan with butter. I did not care so much for the Cajun because of the extra flavor kind of clashing with the sauce. That is just my personal preference though.

We love to do bacon and pineapple together, and what I love about this place is the toppings are not an extreme amount of extra money. Definitely check for deals because they do run quite a few awesome specials!
