A Positive Take on Kuma Boba Having observed the often varied online reviews for various establishments, I felt it was important to share my personal and genuinely positive perspective on Kuma Boba. It's often disheartening to see good places potentially overlooked or misrepresented by isolated negative experiences or overly critical assessments. From my personal observations, I've sometimes witnessed situations where patrons make a mess and then voice complaints about unrelated matters, which can unfortunately and unjustly tarnish a place's reputation without a chance for clarification or rectification. It seems many approach online reviews as if they are professional critics.
However, my recent experiences at Kuma Boba have been genuinely positive, and I strongly encourage others not to be deterred by any past negative reviews you might encounter.
I've had the pleasure of visiting Kuma Boba multiple times, and they have been consistently excellent in their drinks, whether it's a complex Dirty Chai or a simple Matcha Boba. The quality and taste are always reliable, which is a significant factor for me.
The selection of drinks is really good and offers a great variety. It seems they frequently introduce new items or seasonal specials, providing an excellent opportunity to try different options each time you visit.
In summary, despite any varied online sentiment, my repeated visits to Kuma Boba have been highly enjoyable, driven primarily by the exceptional quality and consistency of their beverages. I am genuinely looking forward to going there again and experiencing their...
Read moreI used to frequent this place at least twice a week because it is the only one around like it. About 1.5 -2 yrs ago this place must have been run by the owners. I remember a couple being in there often.Quality was awesome, and the quantity was awesome. The Boba was perfectly cooked and they always put a ton of fruit and ice in the tea. I haven't been there since last year summer 2022 bc I moved. I visited it this past week and they have a Manager and some young kids in there training. The manager was training the girls to make the teas. I drove 25 minutes to get a Boba tea because my past experience was nothing but awesome. The tea I paid $25 was the worst Boba I ever had. The Boba was mushy and slimey the fruit was only particles and seeds of whatever fruit I ordered, there was no ice and it was luke warm, gross. I purchased 3 drinks, one was the fruit one and the other 2 had the milk and boba and they both had 2 ice cubes in it, which was gross .I didn't go back in bc it was pouring rain . If you continue to keep this up Kuma Boba business will change real fast. I sure hope it was a fluke night for ya, you have a great little business, and I would question your manager, that's were I see the fault in. Sorry to leave this review, you need to know what's happening...
Read moreIf you like musubi, don’t get the ones offered here. The rice was overly compressed and somehow had the texture of a potato at times. The boba tea use to be good back when they first opened but has been consistently inconsistent since then. I’ve been to Kuma multiple times, hoping for the best but it’s been consistently disappointing lately.
Service is pretty standard. The person who served me spoke nicely but when asked if they had wi-fi, looked at me and just shrugged it off with a “We have wi-if but I don’t know the password” accompanied with a subtle eye roll and little smirk.
This dumbfounded me. I’m fine with places not having WiFi if they’re honest about it but don’t shrug off a person who is kindly asking.
I love the idea of Kuma and the use of real taro and glass cups but I don’t think I’ll be coming back after this visit. The way the person answered combined with body language and slight role of their eyes was not great. I don’t think they realized I caught the subtle eye roll and smirk as they answered me.
I’m not expecting stellar service or absolutely mind blowing drinks and food at a boba shop but theres a minimum. This was definitely not it.
My real rating of Kuma: Food - 1.5 Drinks - 3.0 Service - 2.0 Atmosphere -...
