ICHII SUSHI — Restaurant in Sterling Heights

I would like to start off by saying that if you’re reading this and you don’t want to read all this it’s amazing and you should go!! But anyways!! I love this place sooo much!! First, my sisters and I come here all the time for sushi and we love it so much! The food is so good I usually get a yum yum roll and the tempura California roll which are both fried rolls and I think they taste so good especially because I always get fried rolls all the time and these two rolls are the best I’ve eaten before! Next, the service of this place is so nice! I’ve read other reviews about the service but I’m sure other people were working here at the time because most of the reviews are from almost a year ago and I started to come about 6 months ago. I don’t know his name but I always come with my 2 sisters and he’s always there at the register and always says welcome to us all the time and he’s so nice! There is always about 2 chopsticks and 2 little soy sauce plates at our table and he always brings another of each because we have 3 people! The waiting time is I would say maybe 10-15 and I think thats an appropriate waiting time for 3 people and we order 2 rolls each person! Also the workers always make sure to refill your water or even give u more napkins if needed! Last, the atmosphere of the place is nice! It’s just a small place and it’s like calm and chill I really like it! Theirs also a nice tv to watch on in there and I like to sometimes look and watch for a bit on it if they are playing something I like! As somebody who is from the east coast, Boston, Massachusetts, I have been spoiled with amazing fresh sushi…after moving out here about four years ago, I have unfortunately been disappointed a countless amount of times when it came to finding good sushi. This place is probably one of the very best sushi restaurants I have ever ordered from here! Sushi is extremely fresh, and done so well. Anything spicy tuna is so delicious, especially the crispy rice! Another really good roll to try is the spicy scallop maki - melts like butter. Customer service is also unmatched - very kind and accommodating - reminds me of home! I know they recently opened and I hope they continue to remain this fresh and this good. Went there lastnight with my boyfriend. We ordered 2 sushi rolls and an order of spring rolls. Already had our spring rolls by the time a table sat next to us. About 20 minutes later that table received there order of sushi. Another 15 mining goes by before a waiter realized we didnt have food and I said they received our sushi. They told the other table that our sushi they received was on the house. Now we're almost an hour in to our experience still no sushi. By the time we got ours another 20 mins later the other table received there correct order at the same time. Our sushi we ordered was cooked sushi and came out burnt.
