I only give this place two stars because they don’t have milk alternatives. I asked them if they had soy milk, almond milk, etc. that I can replace the whole milk cause I’m very lactose intolerant. They said no. In my opinion if you’re gonna have a tea cafe you best have some milk alternatives cause you got lactose intolerant people and those who have some other dietary restrictions hoping you’ll work with them to satisfy the customer and make sure everyone can enjoy the tea they serve here. I still took the Thai tea with bubbles (which by all means was good, very surgery though) and had to take lactose pills in order to enjoy it without getting sick after. So if you have some dairy ristriction I suggest not coming here since the employees or the rule of the restaurant doesn’t allow recipe changes; you have to adjust around them and not them around your needs. As someone who’s been in restaurant customer service for some time, I would personally do anything in my power to find a way for a customer to have the opportunity to enjoy the food and earn their loyalty. Because the rule of not changing the recipe or menu because someone can’t change a dietary need they may not be able to control is absolutely disappointing. It’s not just customers being petty over milk vs milk alternatives. Allow people the opportunity to try your delicious teas based on the needs they may can’t control. It’s not like the measurements are different when replacing milk. Same measurements, different substance it’s...
Read moreHad a 5 star review when I started to go here 3 years ago or so when it first opened. Not anymore. .
*Mobile Application Error / Glitch - ** Manager Error (Manager - Hannah should get demoted or docked due to having poor customer service and blaming the customer for a mishap done by the company's mobile application.) *Still good Tea but customer service has not been as good.
I had placed an order for 2 bubble Teas on the mobile application, I was right outside Kung Fu Tea eating so I didn't want to be rude and bring outdoor food inside. I order the Teas and it says "Kung Fu Brewing" or whatever it states while it's preparing your order. The application had crashed on me, so I quickly went back in the app after the restart to see if my order went through. It did but I noticed it had *2 orders, 1 for my current one for 7/1/22 for my wife & I around *$13.57 or so and then there was *another which was around $18.96, I did not make this second order.
I take it as okay its a glitch.. It happens.
Hannah did not handle this situation properly and was very inexperienced at her job, just stared at me for a good 10-15 seconds at end of explanation & wouldn't hand me my order until told so. Hopefully she does better...
Read moreThey are very strict not to deter from their menu, whereas every place I know is willing to customize a drink for a customer except for them. I don't understand the fear. I was very deceived when I saw "Almond Milk Tea". I was thinking this was a tea with Almond milk. I confirmed with the woman at the counter if it was almond milk because I do not drink dairy and she said yes. I told her, I do not want the "non-dairy milk" because of the chemicals and she did not inform me that the "Almond Milk tea" was the same as the other non-dairy drinks. She told me the only flavor in it was almond with black tea, but it had many chai-like flavors. They told me the truth AFTER I tried the drink and asked many questions to clear up the confusion. Consequently I've been suffering from a massive allergic reaction from all of the artificial flavors of this drink that I thought was simply black tea with Almond milk. YOUR WORKERS NEED TO BE BETTER AT EXPLAINING THINGS CORRECTLY. The menu is also very deceptive to say it is tea when they are all powdered drinks!!! Please make a recommendation to your company!! I am...
