We visited this restaurant for the first time and ordered carry-out on May 31 after a long day. My husband ordered the ground beef kabob combo w/chicken, #13. At home, we were disgusted to discover a long black strand of hair cooked into the kabob. We weren't more than 5 minutes into eating when I spotted and told him to stop!
We immediately called and they agreed that we'd bring the food back for them to have a look. They took the box in the back and we never saw it again. (My husband had already taken a picture.) Khalid and the cashier kept repeating that they didn't have anyone there with long hair. Since neither of us had long enough hair, the implication couldn't go very far.
Neither of them were very courteous and they struggled to process our refund. We had to ask them to refund both meals rather than just one.
When it was all said and done, I pointed out that neither of them had bothered to apologize for feeding us hair. The cashier then apologized as we left.
I recommend no one eat here...unless you're ok with getting poor service and possibly...
Read moreIf you’re into authentic and flavorful desi cuisine, I highly recommend giving this place a try. It’s a must-visit for foodies like me. Try it once—you won’t regret it! I've tried the chicken biryani and chicken karahi both twice, and every time the taste is as expected.
Chicken Biryani: The biryani was incredibly flavorful, with perfectly cooked rice and tender, juicy chicken pieces. The spice blend was spot-on, and the masala coating the chicken added a rich depth of flavor that made every bite irresistible. The balance of heat and seasoning was just right for my taste.
Chicken Karahi: For the Chicken Karahi, I requested extra gravy and less chicken meat, and the owner graciously customized the dish to perfection. The consistency and taste of the karahi were distinct from what you’d find at typical desi restaurants in NOVA—but in the best way possible. The unique preparation added an unforgettable twist that I...
Read moreI recently ordered a takeaway from this restaurant, including a chat samosa, chicken biryani, and a mango lassi. While the presentation of the food was impressive, the experience quickly fell short. Upon opening the biryani, I found a hair, a clear sign of poor hygiene practices and lack of attention to basic kitchen protocols. Additionally, the samosas were dark and appeared overheated, not fresh as one would expect from a professional kitchen.
A restaurant should represent the heart of hospitality, serving food with care, precision, and respect for the guest. Unfortunately, today’s experience was a disappointment. When customers walk into a restaurant, they expect the basics: clean, properly cooked food, and a welcoming experience. This is not just a transaction, it’s an act of trust. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and reflects on what it truly means to offer...
