Rocky Rococo Pizza and Pasta — Restaurant in Stevens Point

I ordered drive thru. Was hoping for a slice I recall from years ago and the pizza was good. I ordered a meal deal with a drink and salad as the poster showed. I asked if the salad was with loads of extras as shown and was told yes. I got it in a separate bag paid almost nine dollars. I drove away and when I opened to eat it found a very disappointing salad. It was a bowl of ice berg lettuce with four slices of cucumber and three little round tomatoes. I was very disappointed to pay that much for a drink worth maybe a dollar, with all the ice; a salad that didn't include almost anything in the photo, a piece of pizza worth maybe two bucks... Not $3.89!! My advice to management, take down the posters if it isn't what you serve. If it is a side salad, sell it as a deal for$5. That is all it is worth. And if you cannot provide what the menu portrays, close the doors. You won't get return business for meals like that and will eventually close anyway. I won't be back. The staff here go above and beyond! Today we ordered through Doordash food from here. Now about an hour later, and seeing several updates on Doordash app that we had to call for an ETA on our food I decided to just call Rocky Rococo instead to see if they knew what the issue was with Doordash. The person I talked to on the phone was the nicest person ever! She informed me that our food was ready but they were waiting for a Dasher to pick it up. She then puts me on a brief hold, gets back on the phone and tells me that one of the girls that works there is done with her shift and she would run our food out to us, due to us being at work ourselves. Their team member gets to our store to drop off the food and tells me not only did they make us fresh food, they gave us extra bread sticks for us waiting so long and this wasn’t even their fault to correct! Very very impressed with them, they are what customer service needs! Thank you ladies from the starving staff...

Disappointed to have to leave this review. Normally, the dough at this location is cooked perfectly (at least for the last couple years,) but today it was clear the pizza was pulled too soon, the oven temp is too low, and/or the timer is too short. The pizza was flat and the dough was wet. I was told "That's how our dough is" but I know it isn't. Not when cooked properly. Uncooked dough can cause health issues. Properly cooked dough is airy, not dense.

When the pizza is cooked right, it is amazing. When it is pulled too soon, it is dangerous. When it sits under the heat lamp too long, it is dry. USUALLY, this location does a great job balancing things. Today, it was nearly raw. Shame. I gave 2 stars because I did still eat the toppings, which were good. I just can't eat nearly raw dough.
