I absolutely adored the food at this restaurant! When we arrived, we approached the entry door to order our meals. However, it seemed there wasn't a dedicated waiter to guide us to our seats. The restaurant was bustling and a tad crowded, so we opted to find a table ourselves to avoid obstructing the flow of patrons. While this decision was understandable given the circumstances, it left us wishing for some form of direction regarding seating arrangements, especially since there was no one available to assist us.
As we settled to our own table, it became evident that there was no waiter assigned to our table. We patiently awaited someone to attend to us, in hopes that when our food was ready, they would know where we were at. In the absence of clear instructions, we found ourselves in a bit of a quandary. However, our anticipation of the scrumptious meal kept our spirits high.
One minor inconvenience we encountered was the lack of a readily accessible source of water. They had a water tank with small cups located some distance away from our table, which meant we had to get up and refill our glasses more than ten times during the course of our meal. It would have been far more convenient if they had placed a water pitcher and cups on each table, sparing patrons the need to continuously leave their seats.
Nonetheless, when our food arrived, it completely exceeded our expectations. One delightful surprise was the inclusion of sides with each meal, a feature that the previous restaurant at this location did not offer. This generous touch added an extra layer of satisfaction to our dining experience. We found ourselves thoroughly enamored with the food, and despite the minor inconveniences we encountered, we would undoubtedly return for another...
Read moreLots of authentic dishes to choose from and everybody really appreciates getting the side dishes along with an entree. Keep that in mind because prices are a little bit higher for an entree here, as well as for appetizers. However it's very delicious food made fresh to order and we appreciated the choices and sides. It is a bit confusing that you have to seat yourself and create an order and then communicate which table you're at before you're allowed to order, but there are no table numbers. The soju is $11 a bottle and you need to ask for glasses if you want to share them, because there is no table service here. Unfortunately our table was very sticky and covered in crumbs and food, and we had to clean it before we could sit down, including the chairs. You also have to bus your own dishes at this restaurant and so I think it would be handy if they could provide a sanitizing bucket since we need to wipe down our own tables as well. The floor is so sticky it's hard to pick your feet up, but that is a sign of a busy restaurant with many patrons. They seemed adamant that this style of ordering is part of the experience, and so I mentioned these things so maybe they could decide to make it a little bit easier for customers if they are able to clean off their own tables with soap and water so it's not so sticky, and get table numbers so they can tell the kitchen where to bring the food, and establish which table they are sitting at so they can be...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I were super excited to come here after great reviews from friends and the ones we saw online. I had heard specifically great things about the corn dogs but I decided not to get them cause I wanted to try something new (I figured it would be similar enough to a regular corn dog). I ordered the bibimbap and it just felt like a bowl of a bunch of junk that they just threw in a bowl to throw in a bowl. Not trying to slander Korean food, I’m sure it’s supposed to be delicious, but this was not entirely what I was expecting. Miso soup was bad, kimchi was not great either. My boyfriend got the spicy pork and said it tasted burnt and not how he expected based on the description on the menu. Only thing he liked was the sides he got with the main course. Only other thing we got was a can of Thai tea and the total was $40, which would be a completely reasonable price if the food was actually good. Again I don’t want to slander Korean food I absolutely love Korean food but I was disappointed with this food. There also seemed to be only two people in the kitchen so maybe that’s why everything was not to my expectations. I would love to go again some day, but not if I have to spend that much money on food I will...
