I recently had the pleasure of dining at China Wok, and I must say that the experience was truly delightful. From the moment I walked in, the enticing aroma of freshly cooked dishes filled the air, setting the stage for a wonderful culinary adventure.
First and foremost, I must commend the restaurant for its incredible range of flavors. The menu at China Wok offers a wide variety of delectable Chinese dishes that cater to every palate. Whether you prefer spicy Szechuan cuisine or crave the comforting flavors of Cantonese classics, this place has it all. Each dish I tried was bursting with authentic flavors, showcasing the expertise of the chefs in the kitchen.
Now, let's talk about the service. The staff at China Wok were extremely attentive and friendly throughout my visit. They were more than happy to help with any questions I had about the menu and offered recommendations based on my preferences. The waitstaff was prompt in taking orders and ensuring that every aspect of the dining experience was well taken care of.
While the food was undoubtedly the highlight of my visit, I did notice the presence of "food left on the plate" surcharge signs around the restaurant. At first, they struck me as slightly offish, as I believe that personal preferences for certain dishes are subjective. However, I understand that it's a way for the restaurant to minimize food wastage, and it's worth noting that I didn't personally experience any issues or extra charges related to this policy.
In terms of ambiance, it's important to mention that the restaurant appears a bit run down. The decor could benefit from some updates, as it seems to have seen better days. However, I believe that the true value of a restaurant lies in its food and service, which China Wok certainly excels in.
Overall, my experience at China Wok was fantastic. The flavors, variety, and quality of the dishes truly impressed me, and the staff's warm and attentive service made me feel welcome throughout my visit. While the restaurant's appearance may not be the most glamorous, it's the food and friendly atmosphere that make it worth a visit. I highly recommend China Wok to anyone seeking an authentic Chinese dining experience that will leave your taste...

Read moreNot a very good experience for our first time here. Place was not that clean and kind of shabby. Could use new booths, tables, and chairs. We were highly offended and felt insulted when the Waitress told us we could not sit at a booth because our Daughter was a big woman. She insisted we sit at a table. She went on to say the booth could break, and our Daughter could get hurt. How uncouth and ignorant she sounded. We should of turned and walked out at that point. We let her lead us to a table and chairs. The chair I sat on was one leg shorter than the rest. We switched it with another chair. Food was okay, we had better. Some of it was dried out and hard to chew. Not enough meat items for a Buffet. I have never in my life had a restaurant server tell us where to sit because of a person's weight and then explain it to us. We will never give them our business or money again. And most Buffets we been to, and that's many, beverage was included. Beware plus size people out there, you will likely get the same...
