Gyro On Wheels — Restaurant in Stillwater

We tried it for the first time, we just got a Gyro to split to see of we liked it because we love another place.... We have never been served a Gyro with iceberg lettuce on it before.... Maybe it's just us, but we were both just meh about that, the meat was good, it had a large portion that we ended up taking half of it off to eat with something else as there was so much the proportion wasn't balanced with the veggies. The overall sandwich was a bit dry to us, we like a bit more sauce than that, it had a lot of lettuce (we are used to ones with cucumber, onion and tomato and sometimes Feta), a little bit of onion and a tomato slice that had been halved. The pita was a bit tough, dry and cracked on us. While we were not very happy with that overall we want to try it again and will be going back at some point and trying some other things. Hopefully this was just an off day. We will avoid getting Gyro's from here though and stick to our usual place for those. The lady working was really sweet and friendly, I'm not sure if she is the owner or just worked there but either way she was great with everyone. We will try a few other things and change this review as we do as I would like to be able to give it a better rating as other reviews are so positive. My husband and I were very excited to try this place as we LOVE Mediterranean food. We both ordered the gyro plate and got a Dubai Chocolate cup for the heck of it. Our sandwiches were $12 each (fair price), plus the dessert. We expected the total to be about $35 with tax or so... To our dismay, we were $20 short! She added her own tip in the amount of $20 and nearly doubled our ticket!! Do not eat here unless you want them to steal from you. The food was pretty good, fry oil needed to be changed, not enough Tzatziki and the meat could have been more tender. And no outdoor seating so we had to eat in our vehicle! We love supporting small businesses but will sadly...

We have been to thie food truck many times now. Never have been disappointed with the quality and quantity of food. We usually order Beef Schwarma, Lamb Gyro, sometimes extra meet, and baklava. The dishes have plenty of protein, rice, pita, and salad for 2 people. The gyros are always tasty, too. And the Baklava, yum. I would recommend for sure.
