Always great deals on stuff!! The only things I avoid are the fresh meat (the frozen meat is a different story) and the milk. Have tried the fresh meat a time or 2 and it just tastes different for some reason a little off somehow and we just always buy our milk at braums so haven't tried the milk here but my dad gets it regularly. Now, as far as other things.... We absolutely love their "Specialty Select" line of stuff in the black label that I know are from popular European brands relabled for sale here. We figured that out last Christmas when I bought the chocolate dipped cookies for the family Christmas. I paid $10 for a huge duel layer tin full of stuff. Well, my mother had the same idea earlier in the season apparently because she bought some fancy tin of imported European chocolate dipped cookies from the import store in Tulsa and paid over $20 for it ... Long story short, somehow they both end up opened and next to each other on the snack table as we have a huge family and we noticed that the cookies all looked exactly the same!! The exact same trays, set up and exact same cookie design/chocolate patterns with the only difference being the Tins they came in... we all started doing taste tests and couldnt find any differences in taste, crunch or texture of anything leaving us to conclude that they were in fact the same cookies... That she had paid twice what I had for the same thing in a more fancy tin/label. It really doesn't matter if its the olive oil with herbs and stuff in it or if its those imported chocolate dipped shortbread cookies at Christmas time and everything in between. It has all been good! The chocolate they carry is the best I have had by our unfortunately low oversweetened gritty standards like herseys that we are raised on. The Choceur milk chocolate with almonds is the closest thing have ever found to the "Worlds Finest" bars I remember selling for fund raising events in school... I haven't seen one of those in years, they don't seem to do them at schools anymore .... But there is choceur!
We love the fresh produce! Some of the best fresh asperagus I have found anywhere. The potato selection is different and interesting and the frozen chicken brand Is much better than tyson! The frozen breaded Parmesan chicken strips are almost as good at homemade! Whole muscle raw chicken so cook to the directions exactly! No cutting corners.... They used to have a frozen whole muscle uncooked southern style chicken breasts that made restaurant quality chicken sandwiches right out of the oven but unfortunately they stopped offering those.
Even the TP is even really good quality for the price. Cheaper than angel soft and as...
Read moreQuality Produce and Affordable Pricing combine in one grocery franchise, and that franchise is ALDI.
This food market chain originated in Europe, and have maintained their business mentality through to their U.S. stores, so things work a little bit differently here when compared to Wal-Mart or Food Pyramid.
First, you have to rent a Shopping Cart for $0.25, you'll get the quarter back when you return the cart. This typically means that everyone puts their carts back and you don't have to worry about running over one.
Second, they charge for bags (not much, but still) to encourage the use of reusable bags. If you forget your bag and don't want to buy one, you're allowed to take any empty produce boxes you find, to pack your groceries in. Please, do not empty a box onto the shelf to take it, that's rude and inconvenient.
Third, they put quality first, quality produce, quality work ethics, and quality business partners. I personally haven't investigated the quality of anything aside from the products, which are of excellent quality indeed, but I've read several investigations and employee reviews that attest to the quality running deeper than the shelves.
To put it simply, if you're in the mood for good food at good prices, then you're in the...
Read moreI'm a regular Aldi shopper and have been to may Aldi stores across America, they have all been in pretty good shape and well stocked, some better than others but I understand sometimes it's busy. This location on the other hand is by far the worst Aldi I have ever been to, 9/15/2025 7pm, the floor through the entire store was littered with trash and boxes, half the items were not in stock and the store was in extremely poor condition. I could normally say maybe they were busy, but while standing in the 18 person long line to checkout I seen 3 other employees just walking around the piles of boxes and trash, so it is either a training or management issue. Either way. Next time I'm in Stillwater I'll just go to the normal grocery store, it will be 3x faster and I won't have to scale piles of trash to shop.
On a side note for corporate, you need to send one of the Tulsa or OKC managers over there to get the place in order and proper training. Specially whoever is over the Sand Springs or Tulsa...
