Read moreAlright, buckle up, because I'm about to take you on a flavor journey to Bubbakoo's Burritos! This isn't your average grab-and-go spot; it's a vibrant, customizable haven where your burrito dreams can truly come to life. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by an energetic atmosphere and the tantalizing aroma of fresh ingredients. The sheer variety of options can be a little overwhelming at first, but in the best possible way. You've got your standard proteins, of course, but the real star of the show, for me at least, is their fantastic cauliflower substitution for chicken. Let me tell you, as someone who sometimes craves a lighter or vegetarian option, Bubbakoo's has absolutely nailed this. The cauliflower florets are perfectly cooked – tender on the inside with a delightful crispness on the edges. And the best part? They don't just offer plain cauliflower. You can get it tossed in a variety of their signature sauces, mirroring the chicken options. On my recent visit, I opted for the General Tso's cauliflower in my burrito, and oh my tastebuds. The sweet and tangy sauce clung beautifully to the cauliflower, providing a burst of flavor in every single bite. It had that satisfying stickiness and slight heat that you expect from a good General Tso's, but with the delightful texture of the roasted vegetable. Beyond the incredible cauliflower, the customization options are truly impressive. You can build your burrito (or bowl, salad, or tacos) exactly to your liking, choosing from a wide array of fresh toppings, flavorful rices and beans, and a tempting selection of sauces ranging from mild to fiery. The quality of the ingredients shines through – the vegetables are crisp, the rice is fluffy, and the sauces are clearly made with care. And let's not forget the little extras that elevate the Bubbakoo's experience. Their queso is creamy and addictive, perfect for dipping those warm tortilla chips. They also offer unique options like their "Love Chips" dusted with Old Bay seasoning – a seriously craveable side. The service is generally friendly and efficient, even during peak hours. The staff seems genuinely enthusiastic about the food, and they're happy to guide you through the many choices. My final verdict? Bubbakoo's Burritos isn't just a place to grab a quick bite; it's a destination for flavor exploration. The fact that they offer such a delicious and versatile cauliflower substitute for chicken is a game-changer for vegetarians, flexitarians, or anyone simply looking to try something different. It proves that plant-based options don't have to be an afterthought – they can be the star of the show. So, if you're looking for a fresh, flavorful, and customizable meal with a fantastic vegetarian twist, do yourself a favor and head to Bubbakoo's. You won't be...
Read moreUpdate: Friday, August 29th, 2025 Forgot my review. The night that I went, the food was extremely bland even with the sauce. The rice mushy, chicken looks too light and has no type of taste for it to be “grilled” They have completely went downhill or night crew needs training. This was the reason why I stopped going there in the first place but now it’s intolerable. Ironically, the vegetables were soft this time and were the only good part. Maybe it’s the new management but I will try again probably in 3 months to see if they improved because this used to be my spot but not anymore :(
Food is good. Though my complaints is they need to be generous with the vegetables, cheese, and meat. Only had 2 strips of green bell peppers. 2 red. More onions, rice, and beans than anything else in the bowl. They also need to be generous with the sauce please because sometimes they forget or don’t put much at all. Also the food tends to be cold at times and never warm. Inside or DoorDash. So be sure you guys are checking water temperatures or however you store the food. Thanks. On the positive side, their chips are very good and fresh tasting even if they forget to put enough salt on them. Queso is a secret surprise and not fake tasting. Their burrito creations are good as well. The Oreos and loaded curly fries I remembered them being great. The staff are friendly and welcoming at least in...
