Smallcakes Stockbridge — Restaurant in Stockbridge

I wanted to surprise someone with something but I couldn't think of what. I thought about doing an arrangement but I remembered driving past this bakery about a month ago. I prefer to support local businesses so I decided to give them a call. When I called, no one answered. However, about 5 minutes later, my phone rang. It was them calling me back. This impressed me because I didn't leave a message. Follow-up is huge for me.

I spoke with a nice lady. I asked about their delivery fee and their flavors. She was patient and went down a long list of flavors that they had (which all sounded very tasty). I couldn't decide so I just asked her to pick whatever was popular and send. She allowed me to pay over the phone since the delivery was going elsewhere (a plus... I appreciate that convenience)! I called around 1p and asked her to deliver as soon as possible. She said she could have them delivered by 3p. AGAIN IMPRESSED!

My friend called and let me know that he received the delivery and raved about how tasty the cupcakes were. I wish I had a picture to share. Heck, I didn't even get a chance to see them! :) He said he had to fight off his co-workers because everyone was begging for one. LOL!

The pricing was very reasonable. I will definitely support this business again and recommend them to others. THANK YOU for making this happen for me on such...

The one star is for opening on time. The customer service was awful! I was craving for something sweet to eat on my one cheat day. I was excited to find out about this cupcake bakery online, the pictures got my attention and it's close by so I decided to go during my lunch break. They open at 12PM, I got there at 11:58AM and waited the two minutes with anticipation. The lady in the store turned the "open" light on, unlocked the door and kept walking without opening the door. I opened the door, told her good afternoon and she completely ignored me while she talked on a personal call. I told her that I wanted six cupcakes and as I was making my selection she completely ignored me and kept talking on her phone. Ironically, she kept telling the person on the phone that "you don't listen to me" but here I am, her customer and she exhibits the same behavior towards me. I took a deep breath and waited patiently (God is working with me on my patience, so I tried) but after a couple of minutes I finally told her to forget it because I was on my lunch break. I'll definitely try another location, but I refuse to patronize this particular location because based on my experience and the reviews, they don't respect...

First time trying Smallcakes and it was underwhelming to say the least. The store smell like a sewage and there was little to no air in the establishment. I tried 3 flavors for a total of 4 cakes to include red velvet, Reese’s peanut butter, and cookies and cream. Pro(s): the cakes were super moist and they are large in size. Con(s): the icing on the red velvet is not the traditional cream cheese icing. I’m not sure the flavor but the icing tasted like the icing from the Betty Crocker container and I was not a fan of that. The chocolate peanut butter was a classic chocolate cake with a heavy peanut butter icing; not very flavorful. The Cookies and Cream was a classic chocolate cake with a butter cream cookies and cream flavored icing. Again, not flavorful. The cake tastes like it came straight out of a box. Very...
