Unfortunately, my experience was not good at all this time around. I never give reviews please bear with me. It's usually a wonderful experience and not too crazy, but ever since the remodel, it's like the place got smaller and even more busier than usual. Which, for the company is great of course, but with that comes a lot of negatives.
Today, I placed a mobile order at 10am and accidentally placed for it to be picked up inside (which I never do and will never do again). I was little bummed out because the drive-thru is quicker (which isn't saying much considering the drive-thru is so cramped). So, I went inside 20 minutes AFTER I placed my order and my drinks were ready... but my food was nowhere to be found. It was extremely cramped in there and I was told by the person next to me that they had been waiting for almost an hour for their food. So, I sat down and waited.
As someone who is in the food service industry, I completely understand being extremely busy, frustrated, and stressed, but the attitude being given by one of the employees was insane to me. People were frustrated that their orders weren't ready after having waited for a long time and we're being treated as if they were an inconvenience or annoying. I sat there until 11:10 when my food FINALLY came out. All I ordered was a pumpkin pepita loaf and a breakfast wrap, one that needs a little time and one that needs no time at all to place in a bag.
The only saving grace for this experience was the kind lady making the drinks (she had a visor hat with pins on it). She was extremely kind. I also witnessed someone get arrested while I was there and it was literally right in front of the door? That was a little weird.
I really wanted to get a refund, but it was so hot and cramped in there and I really needed to go take my medicine, that I just gave up and walked away. It might be a bit until I come back to this...
Read moreI had a terrible experience here. I will never ever drink or eat anything from a Starbucks again. I am advising all friends and family and anyone who reads this to do the same. If I could give this no stars I would, but the staff were friendly so they get a star. I got a Mocha Frappuccino. Let me start off here. The coffee was just nasty. It tasted like nothing I had ever tasted. It was just so bland. You couldn't tell it was even coffee if you had your eyes closed. It was extremely thick and it had no ice in it. Then when I stopped drinking I got some whipped cream in my mouth and it was the same, but really light. So this was our first stop on our way back to Jacksonville. Maybe in Macon I started feeling itchy and I looked where I was scratching. My arms, my legs, my neck, and my feet were covered in just raised rashes. I was really scared because I thought it was flesh eating bacteria and so I went and got checked and they said I had had an allergic reaction to something. Whatever in the world they put in that coffee must have done it. It was like drinking glue. I tried Dunkin Donuts and had no problems, and I think I prefer it now. It as been almost 2 weeks and I still have that whatever. Probably ebola. I urge everyone to at least stay away from this place and go to a different Starbucks if you need...
Read moreI don't usually write reviews, but I feel like someone should know about my experience. I placed a mobile order from my rental car, which was charging. The order confirmation said it would be ready in 5 to 7 minutes. Since the store was 15 minutes away, I walked over, thinking that would be plenty of time.
When I arrived, I went to the mobile pickup area, but my drink wasn't there. I waited for thirty minutes, watching other customers come and go. I decided to check the app to make sure I hadn't made a mistake, but the order was there, and I was at the right location.
I approached a young female worker with brown hair, who rolled her eyes when I showed her my phone. She rudely said, "Mobile orders are over there," in a harsh tone. I tried to explain that my drink wasn't there, but she cut me off, saying, "If it's not there, then it's not ready."
By this point, I had been waiting for about 45 minutes, and I had a flight to catch. It would have taken just a quick look or a kind smile to resolve the situation, but I guess that was too much to ask at this place. I won't be...
