Don Rafa's Taco Shop — Restaurant in Stockton

Wanted to find a good taco truck out here in Stockton. This one had 5 stars so how could it be nothing but amazing. The truck is bright red and menu pictures with descriptions on the truck, A frame signs advertising Carne Assad Fries and WHAT! TORTAS! YES YES YES! I ordered the carnitas torts with everything and my boyfriend ordered carnitas Super burrito... ok we wait about 15 min for our food, meanwhile boyfriend is filling little cups with salsas and cucumber and beans all very good.. Oh our order is ready .. I pick up my torta and the soggy bread killed it. It’s a big sandwich they could have cut it in half it was soggy messy no flavor and where the hell is the carnitas ???????? Boyfriend said the same thing about his burrito .. carnitas where are you .. we also ordered the strawberry drink and it was just like Kent’s strawberry nectar .....WONT BE BACK .. there is plenty of seating and a trampoline to play on and I didn’t find the staff...

Have never had such a poor taco truck experience. Of my 4 visits I've never gotten what I ordered properly. I ordered tacos with red sauce, they come with green. I ordered a quesadilla with no avocado due to allergies and paid $8 for a meat and lettuce quesadilla, with a couple diced bits of tomato, completely flavorless. I've ordered chicken burrito twice which had dry and stringy meat. The prices are too high, the quality and care is very low. To add more insult I've had to ask for my food twice as they only yell your number one time then put it on the shelf.

Don't even try to speak English, they act like they don't understand, then I spoke Spanish and they switched to English. completely infuriating way to buy the food you didn't even order.

Avoid at all costs, or you'll end up paying $2-$3 more for things you probably didn't even order.

2 years later they still mess up the simplest orders. Spend less on the trucks and get some...

Went here one night and ordered a super burrito with everything. It tasted average but the dude who served it to me smirked. He could have been laughing at a joke he heard in the back of the truck.

Next day I wake up with body aches and my stomach swollen like a ballon. Laid in bed getting worse. When I went to use the restroom My stomach felt like knifes and I was dizzy. I acquired Food poisoning from this place. The entire day was ruined because of a burrito the night before. When I asked for everything this isn’t what I meant.

I know someone who catches the bus to there said the same thing. She had body aches and everything. She even took the COVID test to see if that’s what it was but she came out negative.These burritos taste good but it’s a risky bite because you can end up missing work or special days. If you do eat here make sure you don’t have anything important to do the next day because you might...
