Moo Moo's Burger Barn — Restaurant in Stockton

It’s been a few years since I’ve been here. I went back because my son had ordered a couple of deliveries through DoorDash in the last week. One was for breakfast and one was for burgers. And he was raving about it so I just had to try it! First off their pickle spears are awesome. Second, the server last night was Amber and she is terrific! Very personable. Business was slow so she spent a few minutes talking with me. I look forward to seeing her again next time I eat there. Sadly, they stop serving breakfast at 11 AM. I chose a teriyaki burger with mushrooms. I was happy with my choice. Seems like a quality patty and it actually was as big as the bun! I asked for it to be cooked medium and it was. A lot of places don’t like doing that but that’s the way I like my burger and they were happy to oblige. Since I don’t cook at home, this is probably as close to home cooking as I’ll get. Their main emphasis are burgers, salads, sandwiches, appetizers and of course breakfast until 11:30 AM. They’re open seven days a week and they have long hours from 7 AM till either eight or 9 PM depending on the day of the week. I am looking forward to...

DO NOT ORDER HERE!! Burger is sloppy, greasy, disgusting! Looks like something you pick up from the dumpster behind their place! To the cook who made our food today - July 1, 2022 and cooked it between 5-5:30 PM - YOU NEED TRAINING. I may have been able to stomach the food had the presentation been decent but the burger was a mess, absolute waste of money and time!!

Not one star deserved. Period.

Since the so called “owner” responded (yea right) with an angry and unprofessional tone, I’m going to assume it was a low level staff member. The food was garbage. That was my complaint. How about you call your customer to get further clarity, rather than start an online fight with me from behind your keyboard?? Never got a call. Sure, go ahead and accuse the customer of being in the wrong. You’ve been in business for over 20 years? It s a franchise! Maybe you should take additional training with your cook and invest in Management skills?? Reviews aren’t one sided. My review is a direct response of the disgusting food...

When considering a burger joint, especially an old timey one, I look for a relatively affordable price as well as excellent service and taste... The burger I was provided tasted pretty good. However, I have tasted better burgers for the price of $13 that I paid. And on that note, these burgers were pretty pricey. They were BJs pricey and I dislike BJs, so take from that what you will. On a positive note, the menu was extensive and provided many great varieties of burgers you can't find elsewhere The restaurant did feel homey and it was a genuinely nice place which I would not mind bringing the family to. The customer service was great. Overall, It was a pleasant experience for a burger joint, and I might return sometime soon to enjoy some other varieties of burger and see if there are more eye opening options...
