Don’t go to this location unless you want salmonella. I went in an hour before their closing so I can understand and empathize with the workers already cleaning up the fryers and grill so they can go home on time. However, that’s still not an excuse to give raw chicken katsu to customers. I, along with other people who ordered, had to send our food back because the chicken meat was still pink and bloody. If I hadn’t checked my order before leaving I wouldn’t even have known. I can tell that the workers were getting irritated with us who asked to cook our food again, but that was the most necessary approach from us customers when you’re given raw and improperly cooked meat that could’ve caused several days of sickness. I don’t think the manager was present during all of this as the only person I interacted with throughout the night was the same employee who I had asked to fix my order.
They have poor service, the employees most likely don’t have proper food handlers training, an overworked staff with poor working conditions, and lack professionalism and accountability from management. I’ve been a frequent customer at this location, but my most recent visit was frustrating and disappointing. I ordered teriyaki chicken with all rice and specifically requested that the chicken not be cut because they tend to skimp on portions when they do. Despite clearly stating this, my request was ignored. When I asked for it to be remade, one of the employees was dismissive and gave me attitude, insisting it was already cut.
The remake was even worse—completely dry with no sauce. At this point, multiple employees got involved, yet no one seemed interested in fixing the issue properly. It wasn’t until a cook from the back stepped in that my order was finally understood.
Consistent service should be a priority, and it’s frustrating that something this simple required so much back-and-forth. If a restaurant wants to maintain loyal customers, they need to ensure their staff listens to reasonable requests and provides the same quality...
Read moreOrdered at drive thru. The young lady taking my order seemed to be in a rush to give me my total without asking if I wanted anything else. I ordered an appetizer after having ordered a family meal. She gave me my final total and I proceeded to the window and paid. Stopped one more place before going home. Didn't think anything would be missing since I ordered 2 menu items. Got home and app was missing. Called again and again but was constantly busy up until they closed. Called the next day and no one would answer. Went back to ask for a refund since the food wasn't good so we didn't care to try the appetizer anymore. The lady at the counter never offered any apology or comment....truly different experience from previous visit 6 months before. Oh and I went in there and was as kind as can be, not upset that I had to go back or anything so no reason for no apology...
