Double Shot Coffee Drive Thru — Restaurant in Stow

My husband and I were soooooooo incredibly excited about this place opening. We keep going back in hopes that the drinks improve thinking maybe they're still training and it'll get better with time.

So far we've tried 7-8 different drinks over several weeks time, and have honestly thrown a few of them away they were so bad. One of which was the caramel dream, 3 or 4 different people tried it before we tossed it, and nobody could stomach it and my husband loves super sweet drinks. Another was the chai latte. I tried it two different times and basically paid $5 for milk both times so I won't be getting that again for sure. I've had chai tea lattes at multiple places and have even made it at home and have never had this issue before.

Several of the drinks I just went home and had to doctor them up one way or another to make them enjoyable, which isn't a big deal if I'm going home. But if I was on the way to work I'd be very disappointed.

Something that has been pretty consistent with cold drinks is no matter what iced coffee/espresso /cold brew drink we get, it seems to be watered down even immediately after getting it. And it isn't only on hot days so I don't think it's that. There's not usually a wait so I don't think they sat for a few minutes before we got them either. Not sure what's going on there, but it just adds to the drinks being just okay and not all that good a lot of the time.

One thing we did enjoy were the homemade Pop-Tarts. The cake pops are decent, but they're really small so not really worth it in my opinion. The scones were kind of just alright.

Over all I have high hopes for this place improving. I think we're going to give them a few months to see if they work out the kinks and improve before going back. We really reeeaaally wanted to like this place, but it has kinda just been...

Been coming here consistently since opening anytime I’m in the area I’d rather come here than any other coffee shop I joke around with the workers there all the time the vibe and energy is great. I’m a huge fan of the perfect shot shakerato and I love the holiday drink offers as well. The poptarts are to die for and I love that they got a toaster for them also I do hope they add more breakfast options and healthier breakfast options instead of just pork. My one and only complaint would probably be the reward system whether you buy 1 coffee or 10 they only give you one stamp so hopefully they improve their reward system to more of a point system than a visit system especially when you’re buying more than 1 coffee everyday but other than that...

I have to be honest, there's something about Double Shot that always leaves me a bit disappointed. But it's so conveniently located, that I always go back. I can't speak to the coffee, but the matcha is always a bit different and often way too strong and the chai is usually VERY sweet. But, if the focus is coffee - I can't blame them! My husband does really love their redbull drinks, if you're looking for a non-coffee option. But I don't even like redbull in general so I can't speak to that personally, either!

I will say, however, that they have a sweet potato burrito that I always appreciate as a person who's always on the lookout for meatless options. I would go to Double Shot just to get that burrito, I love...
