This Giant Eagle location appears to be like all of the others however this locations floral and greeting card departments are probably the best compared to other Giant Eagle Stores. I came to this store to specifically purchase flowers as a gift to my mother for her 80th birthday, I was amazed at their large selection, there is no comparison to the Barberton location which is 10 minutes from where I live. There was so many options to choose from, I had to solicit help from another customer to help me decide, I needed the advice from a woman/mom lol, Iâm terrible at these things, with her help I opted for the supreme red rose bouquet, I also decided to get a bouquet of peach colored roses as well as a bouquet of Babies Breath flowers, I felt that all 3 bouquets of flowers would pair well with one another to make a beautiful rose display in one of my moms vases. Well my mom absolutely loved them, thanks to this Giant Eagle store with their vast floral department I was able to give my mother a beautiful rose display for her birthday and she loved them. I was able to find the perfect card for the occasion as well. Thank you Giant Eagle, not only do I commend you on your floral department but also your staff is amazing, they were so nice and helpful, I couldnât have navigated my way through this complicated situation without them lol. If you find yourself in a similar situation as I was or you already know the ins and outs of flowers, this Giant Eagle stores floral department is top notch and in closing the cost of my 3 flower bouquets was very reasonable, I would have expected them to be a lot more expensive then the price I paid. Today I was in the store not shopping for myself but DoorDashing. I was looking for a bag of spinach and couldnât find it. I saw a team member named Chris. I asked Chris could he help me find the item. Chris was VERY Dismissive but pointed to a bag then walked away. My kids and I looked in disbelief bc we never experienced rudeness here before. I continue to shop and seen Chris over by the meat section when I man said â Hey Chris can you help me findâ âŚsome type of cracker. Chris stopped what he was doing to help this man. I said âwow that was a different response then you give meâ Chris stated to me it was bc â he was a customerâ then I in returned said â and Iâm notâ Chris said NO youâre Insta carting. I was COMPLETELY SHOCKED! So you telling me bc Iâm shopping for someone else at this time that Iâm no one!? I told him I was going to speak to his manager and he said go ahead nothing will happen.    Read moreWOW, I witnessed terrible customer service tonight at Giant Eagle. I wasnât even involved. I just witnessed it. Caitlin and Employee wouldnât sell cigarettes to a customer at 9:55 PM while the store was still open. She literally said she chose not to. He recorded it and then the manager came because Caitlin was yelling. I donât consent to the recording. She doesnât consent because the store wasnât closed yet and she wouldnât sell a product that takes literally one minute to sell she spent more time arguing about not selling it to this guy when they were open. The store manager wasnât much better. Completely unimpressed with the employees here. I donât think Iâll be returning to this Giant Eagle and I wasnât even involved in the interaction. I just witnessed crazy employees. Do better have better Customer Service. If someone walks in five minutes before closing, youâre still open.
