House Of Flavorz — Restaurant in Stratford

I have mix feelings for this place . The first few times I order the food was really good, but quality started declining. (I have only ordered tacos from there). The last time I ordered, I don’t know if it was a different chef but the tacos were not made the same why they usually are and to top that tasted disgusting. I couldn’t even finish. They were cold and barely had any one the toppings (portion wise), and also the tortillas were not even cooked fully or however they heat them up. Literally looked & tasted like they were just were just taken out the packaging and used without doing anything to them. This was truly disappointing.

On the atmosphere, there is none. Like the other reviews said, completely empty and the cashier doesn’t say much nor is welcoming. Every time I’ve come in the drink refrigerator is left open for long periods of time for “restocking” even though no one is doing so or there is just not many drink in the fridge.

The last complaint is their hours. Seems like they change them a lot which means not a reliable go to. Before they were open everyday except Sundays, then they decided to close Wednesdays too and now they’ve updated it to be closed on Tuesday as well.

Overall, you should try place out if it’s down the street from you & there no other options to have. If not, just don’t...

Staying in CT for mother's day weekend with my 2,16 year old boys. We ordered from here bc I've seen alot of good reviews and THEIR WEBSITE photos look delicious HOWEVER, that's not what we got. I got the boys chicken fingers and fries and couldn't believe what we received. Nothing like the pictures they post. The smallest, driest, chicken ever. Everything on the Menu that I tried was all great and exceeded my Expectations The wings themselves were cooked to perfection. They were crispy on the outside, while still remaining juicy and tender on the inside.
