I would of gave this restaurant 4 stars because more often than not their food is good, but their lack of customer service is TRULY just about offensive!! This is our 4th time there. At least twice our food has been really salty & when you point it out the owner he always gets offended & proceeds to insinuate you don’t know good food! Yesterday we ordered 2 dinners to go. Our dinners came with a side of spaghetti.we asked for a side of penne instead with vodka sauce. Owner refused to make the substitution. We then just went ahead and order a whole separate side of penne with vodka sauce. Owner (whom took the order) said he did NOT have penne, instead he would substitute for rigatoni pasta. Proceeded to say that it was a better pasta and if I had a problem then I don’t know how to eat Italian food. When I got home with my order, my 2 sides of “spaghetti” were penne with marinera sauce. I called to bring to owners attention. He said he was very busy and he ran out of spaghetti. All of a sudden he had penne pasta & still refused to pour a little vodka sauce over it.he also charged us $22.00 for the order of rigatoni pasta with vodka sauce. The owner gets very upset when a customer is not “happy” & treats the customer like dirt and is never apologetic. Instead he proceeds to tell you how WRONG you are for feeling inconvenienced. I’m a paying customer. The food is NOT given for free I should be able to eat what I want NOT what the owner decides he wants...

Where to start? First, I really don't like writing bad reviews, but I feel it's necessary after our experience. We had a reservation for 9. Got there 5 mins before and they hadn't prepared a table for us yet. Once seated, no one bought us menus. After 20 mins - my 91 yr old dad kept telling me to be patient - I asked the owner if we could pls have menus. Took another 10 mins to get. The ONLY part of our service that was prompt & efficient was the young man pouring water. Drinks & food took forever to arrive. My dad's meal was sub-par. When I went to speak to the owner, he was rude & used profanity while speaking to me. When he started to lecture me on "how Italian food is made", I said, you obviously aren't hearing me" and turned to walk away. He grabbed my arm which was very disturbing. I firmly told him to "let go" and went back to our table where I informed my family of what happened. We immediately asked for check. When waiter, who was nice, but had no support from ownership, bought check, he apologized to me for owner's behavior. He said "we try to tell him he has to be nice to customers even when they have a complaint, but he doesn't listen." There was palpable tension with entire staff. On the way out, owner tried to thank my dad & sibs for coming. He looked baffled at their lack of response until he saw they were with me. He then backed off. We will NEVER return to this establishment. And, with owners attitude, I doubt it'll...

Not a great start...owner kept raising a window shade ( three times) even when our party of six said the setting sun was right in the eyes of several of us. Most of the food was good: meatballs appetizer (special of the day $15 for two, in red sauce with a ricotta garnish, hot antipasto, but it took almost an hour for the entrees to be served....and the restaurant was almost empty! And it took even longer for the two of us who ordered a Caesar salad ($11) to get them, being on the verge of canceling them.....but what was even worse was they were not actually Caesar salads. The very small portion of lettuce and croutons was dressed with an admitted (by the owner) bottled dressing which was a very vinegary vinaigrette . And when these salads were returned to the waitress as unacceptable, the owner came to the table and proceeded to explain that he had never had a complaint about this dressing in all the years that he purchsed it and used it in his restaurant. He further postulated that the creamier style of Caesar dressing was probably what was served at diners, not in fine restaurants. The salad charges were removed from the bill, but no other food was offered to the two of us who returned the salads....we only got an argument about how wrong we were. Very unacceptable behavior...very...

I would really reconsider eating here instead consider Biagios in the northern part of town!Ordered to go veal and shrimp gnocchi. When I presented a gift certificate as payment , I was treated with suspicion over it's authenticity !?! I was further interrogated as to who signed it?? Even know it's not stated anywhere on the gift certificate or on establishment that gift certificate is for dine in only the employee informed us that it was for dine in only and was making an exception this time only . Indeed you are sir , humiliated is how I left your establishment . I will say the food was excellent in flavor . Extremely small portions but well crafted and made . With countless choices of excellent Italian quisine in close proximity your food alone with unprofessional customer service is not enough to return or recommend .

We went to celebrate my sister's birthday last Sunday. I really dont do Italian, but this restaurant was ok. The service was phenomenal. The owner and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The appetizers were okay. The disappointment started with the calamari they just served rings, no tentacles, and they were overcooked and chewy. The crab cake was decent, but they should use a lump crab for the price. The linguine and clams were awesome. I enjoyed the fresh pasta. Everyone else enjoyed their meal as well. The cheesecake cake and the limoncello cake were great. I would definitely go back again. To try other pasta dishes that are on the menu. Go check it out. I think you would enjoy it

What a Jem . Nick one of the owners greeted us at the door . After looking around I felt like we were underdressed for this establishment . Nick assured and reassured us we were fine . Me and my wife had the Sicilian calamari . We normally judge a place by how well they can make calamari we were both floored just by the appetizer . I ordered veal Saltimbocca and my wife ordered Chicken Napolitan . My taste buds went nuts . Definitely not your average run of the mill Italian restaurant . Go here and go here often . You Will Not Be Disappointed .
