Note - I tried submitting the following to KFC's website several times, and was ignored several times. Not even a single confirmation email that they received my message.
On 10/27/2020, I placed my order for a chicken sandwich combo with no pickles & a side of cole slaw, then went to the men's room. After I was done, I tried washing my hands but the paper towel dispenser was broken, with a large roll trapped inside that could have been placed next to the sink by an employee.
I left the bathroom to bring in a stack of napkins for myself & future customers, then attempted to use the soap dispenser -- and that wouldn't work, either. I had to open it myself & managed to get the soap bottle out, but there was still no way to release the soap, due to damage. Luckily there was a small crack in the bottle which allowed me to properly clean my hands. I would have left that out for future customers, too, but due to the shape of the bottle there was no way to safely set it next to the sink without spilling it everywhere.
I then went to get one of the dozen or so sporks from the counter so I could eat my cole slaw. There was a sticky substance over all of them. I picked up one, and three stuck together. I took the cleanest one I could find, sat down to eat my meal -- and my sandwich had pickles on it. The bun was cold, and the chicken itself was half as hot as I've experienced from my usual KFC in the past.
The worst part about this experience was when I noticed the "Employees Must Wash Hands" sign in the men's room. I was served by a young man who couldn't wash his hands properly even if he wanted to. He was wearing disposable gloves when he was preparing food, but still -- that sign is there for a reason.

Read more12/1/2022 I ordered online for pick up. I got there 20 mins before my pick up time hoping that it wouldn't be a problem, and I'm glad that I did get there early. I pulled up to the speaker and was immediately informed that they were closing at 8 due to staffing problems. Okay, that's understandable, but my order was for 8:15. I then informed them of my online order to spend nearly 5 mins arguing that I didn't have a online order. Once she saw that it was there she informed me that they didn't have all the items and couldn't or it'd be a really long wait. I requested she cancel my order and was told that only I could do that but there was no option on the site for me to do that. I went inside and waited, didn't get my cake because they didn't have it and I didn't want the lemon cake because nobody in my house would eat it and the cookies aren't worth the money and the manager said that she couldn't refund me for it because it was a online order. I got the bigger of one of the meals so that I could get 2 sides of mashed potatoes to be informed that they didn't have enough potatoes to accommodate that either so I'd have to choose a different side and the one side of potatoes I did get was barely half full. The chicken I had to take was extra crispy so I took off most of the skin because extra crispy was apparently the only was I was getting my chicken breasts. And the drinks were wrong. So I spent $31 on food that wasn't what I ordered and didn't get the cake or refund...
Read moreWell, just read an article on how the fast food industry is hurting because of "prices!" Prices are OUT OF CONTROL, but what's worse is the quality!!! My family has never been one to eat a lot of fast food!! But, after what I experienced. At KFC, which used to be the one fast food restaurant, I didn't mind spending the money because I felt like I was getting a "decent" meal!! Boy, have you fallen, KFC!!! When i approached the drive-through, I asked, "Do you have extra crispy chicken.....yes we do, great! But, we have an 11 minute wait for biscuits, okay, I'll wait. I asked for mac & cheese for my 2 sides, no problem, she said! Pull up to the window, pay, and then pull over and park and bring your food out to you! Okay. 25 minutes later, we received our food and headed home. When we got home, it was very apparent that they had taken original style chicken and tried to refry it to make it crispy......smh!! 🤦♀️ The biscuits were old, and they gave me 1 order of mac & cheese and 1 order of mashed potatoes and gravy 🤮🤮🤮. Which I didn't want to begin with!! The mac & cheese was PASTY absolutely disgusting, the chicken, DRY, and RUBBERY!! Then, when I called to talk to the manager, I was hung up on, a few times!!
