Broadway Bagels & Deli — Restaurant in Stuart

I think they're bagels are tasty I've been there before. I went out of my way to get there in time before they close. I walked up at 1:59 they close at 2:00 p.m. the door was open the woman was at the register. I just wanted to order six bagels to go there were bagels behind her in racks but instead of allowing me to be there 2 minutes bagging up six bagels that they already had done she simply said we're closed! There was no nice hello or good customer service. She looked annoyed that I would come so close to closing I understand it was closing time but I didn't want anything elaborate! I just wanted some bagels to go.

I feel in a business like this customer service should be top notch there are other places to get bagels and I was able to get them somewhere else that wasn't closed yet that turned out to be very tasty bagels! So I wasted my time going there, through horrible traffic and parking for nothing! Placed an order through GrubHub, the store associate was combative and rude when I was inquiring what had occurred, and informed me that GrubHub had called and they were out of all the bagels, except for French toast. So that's what the GrubHub attendant chose. When I asked who would eat that as a French toast bagel with bacon egg and cheese on it does not sound yummy or delicious, not to mention the fact that my wife is severely allergic to cinnamon, the rude wait staff proceeded to argue and say that lots of people order that. To cut off a customer in the middle of talking to say that lots of people order something, it’s not only rude, it’s a horrible example of Customer Service. There was never an offer to make things right or to try to retain my business. Promptly thanked them for their time and said that we would not be using their service again. I rarely post reviews but the sandwich I purchased for my son almost made him choke. My son found a 2 inch piece of plastic inside of his sandwich. Probably from the processed cheese that they put on their sandwiches when they advertise that it’s cheddar. When the manager had to come to the register to initiate a refund, instead of apologizing she just snidely remarked that they don’t even use plastic in the kitchen. Well if she would know her business, she would know they use processed cheese product which comes wrapped in a thin layer of cellophane. I didn’t appreciate being indirectly called a liar. And I also had to return my breakfast sandwich because they think it’s OK to use rotten brown avocado and sell that to their customers for eight dollars a sandwich.
