Sucre, a french bakery — Restaurant in Stuart

Suuuuuuper disappointed with my experience today at Sucre. I’ve been here so many times as well as bought muffins downtown from Katherine at the green market in west Palm. She is fantastic, very personable, kind, a wonderful baker. The food is typically great, that’s what keeps us coming back! But I went in today and was informed they don’t do their 4 for $12 muffins any more, okay not a big deal although spending $16 on muffins is a bit ridiculous. What irked me most was the woman behind the counter…talk about RUDE. Super nasty, not friendly, and seemed annoyed to even be there. I’m not asking for someone to be overjoyed but at least look alive. Other disappointing factor was the muffins are substantially smaller now as well, and surprisingly didn’t have much taste to them. My hubby and I had been trying to get here for so long and finally did on our day off. What an amazingly outstanding French bakery. I was in awe of all the varieties in such a quaint lil space. We got the fig,brie and prociutto croissant and omg was it magnificent. I had to stop myself from getting all the pastries but did not leave without the beautiful cannoli muffin, gigantic cinnamon roll, coconut macaroon and 2 milk buns. We also got a creamy cafe latte and and a mocha latte. But the best part was when one of the amazing bakers came out and gave us samples of the biscoff cookie croissant!!!! It was sooooooo delicious. Definitely recommend this lil hidden gem off Denver and Osceola...
