I must have come on an off night because the experience was disappointing. I ordered the chicken Palermo which sounded yummy and looked good. Then I took a bite - it was undercooked and never made it to 165 degrees. I sent the chicken back and what came back to me was the same chicken, reheated and still not cooked properly. Food handling basics were not followed. The same chicken should not have come back.
The jambalaya my boyfriend had was also equally bad with an overpowering flavor of old fish.
The manager spoke to us; he was very nice. He offered free dessert or a beer - a very nice gesture, but he should have immediately offered to at least take off the undercooked chicken. It was sent back twice…
We were not out for a free meal and actually paid for food that we couldn’t eat.
On a positive note, our server was great. She can’t control the kitchen. I just expected better as the reviews are great and our other...
Read moreThe night I met up with my kids back home from school at Carsons was very busy night inside. So we set outdoors. With a chill in the air it was nice they had heaters but it seemed a pain or chore for the staff to turn one on for us. From there it went down hill a bit , band palying that night wasnt very good, it seems the inside patrons thank its okay to come outside and stand right by your table and chain smoke shout on their cell phones then leave their empty glass nearby. The staff dosent care it seems, upon complaining I just got a shoulder shrug and a ohwell, our drinks were weak, service was okay ,food Average. My check was $135.00 for 4 people for lite food and a couple rounds of drinks , i still tipped 20% cause I waited tables too long ago, but didnt get a thanks for coming or how was everything. Ill keep my $135.00 +tip for somewhere else next time around. Maybe im getting old ,Just trying to be honest...
Read moreWe had the best Sunday at Carson's for dinner and drinks, from the moment we walked in the door the hostess greeted us with a smile and offered us a place to sit for two, we chose to sit at the bar, and what a delight that was, Jim the bartender, is outstanding! The espresso Martini was a delight, he offered me a rose that was phenomenal, when I had changes in my menu order he was more than willing to go back to the kitchen and ask the chef if it could be done, and they accommodated me with the most spectacular corvino and scallop dish accompanied with green beans and red Bliss potatoes, my husband's wedge salad with steak came out perfect with his desired changes. Between the atmosphere, The food, & courteous and professional service, Carson's is number one ! Again thank you Jim for a wonderful Sunday. And thank you Carson's for having such a...
